Calmar,

I assume these to be very conservative based on what I hear, no proof it wil work out even this good though...

80000 bpd, at $1 per barrel
assume just 250 selling days a year
assume 75% profit, (there must be some overheads on top of the ongoing cost of sales)
assume $/£ ex rate 1.65
assume tax = 33% when we start paying it

80000*$1*250*0.75/1.65*0.67=£6.091m PAT / 127m shares = 4.8p EPS

On a PE of 10 for next year, covers the current price on its own right. BUT... have to get the permit yet.

But like che says, we are worth more than the current price (imo) on iodine alone given we almost have 6 plants running, we know the tech works, chem division is apparently doing well, and we have sold raw iodine so know it is possible.

To put it simply:

80,000 bpd
$1 per barrel - i think it may be more than this, hot water is up to $5 or $6.
20 cent opex
$1.5 mill one off installation
-25 % just to be on the safe side

= $16.5 million / year

I have tried to be harsh with my numbers - speculation opex is lower, sale price is higher.

We are worth £1 on the iodine business, ignore water.

History of AIM stocks is a varied and frustrating journey that takes nerves of steel, or blind panic at some point, even though I added recently I'm starting to get that sell at all costs red mist come over me, help!!!!!!!!!!!.

All sensibility out the window, water application covers the share price.

If we get it, could not agree more!

Well I suppose the company is worth something, what that will be in terms of share price is anybodies guess now, I can see this continuing up to next Friday.

I suspect it's the share prophets piece this pm saying EK went short at 56 yesterday. Usual stuff- they are running out of money, results for 2013 will be awful(we already know this) and a profit warning for 2014 all predicted. It's all fun and games!!! :-(

Just added a few at 52 odd and immediately a move down :-( Looks like a sell order dumping at 50p. Does L2 support this idea, anyone?

I decided to have a look back today to my first ever decent sized purchase in IOF back in September 2012. At the time IO1 was only just getting out of the starting block, we were getting messed about by Hal on the water deal and the Oklahoma plants were just a twinkle in Lance's eye.

We've now got a year and a half's production out of IO1, 4 Oklahoma plants with another on the way and a water deal which actually looks to be getting somewhere (fingers crossed).

So how much extra does it cost to buy a share given all that progress?

About minus 5p :)

Just returned home from having eye surgery, (cataract), and with my new eye I can just about see the intraday chart, and I observe that it dipped below 50p.

Much as I am bruised and battered by IOF, I could not resist selling my TTR and adding yet further here. It does wonders for my average, but it needs to stop falling now for that to really be the case. 51p got me 12,000 extra shares.

Please don't tell my wife that I have thrown yet more money at this!

Currently, mkts are sh1t.
Check OPAY's stunning results & the shares are DOWN
after being taken down 20% over the last month.....

What chance IOF, then?
Look at the company, not the market & shorters.
It's in a much better position than in March '13 @ 165p!
Let alone 240p.

Sometimes you just have to sit it out......
