The trouble is, superg, that even when we do get the long awaited RNS updates, the shareprice goes down.....not up. I'm feeling rather exasperated about that, as I know many others are. Many bought in here on the confirmation of the technology working, when the shareprice was expected to rise on the basis of that. No-one would have expected this kind of drop after patent news, and what I thought was a reasonable operational update. It seems bizarre to me, but then, what do I know.

I can only conclude that Lance's ill health and resignation has left a huge hole in the confidence of the markets.

Chuntering on some more re rumours list

July a very good month.

Chem div doing well, but that was in their presentations too.

CEO maybe near selected.

A name that has popped up.

New brine to some degree has already been going to io2.

Other positive bits that are difficult to add weight too, so they don't get mentioned.

All useless without updates, but I wouldn't mention them if it there wasn't anything decent to support them.

Just to clarify that point. we said water permit app, and an rns appeared the next day.

We said patent, and an rns appeared the next day.

Re the latest unknown, I have no idea of the relevance or what stage anything is at or it's impact/relevance but could guess, knowing what they do.

If it is relevant and material, iof may release an rns in the future, but I have no idea re if, when, or what.

SG, tbh no, probably more likely to be speculatory comment, hence the question mark.

I don't recall the comment 'various candidates' any idea where you saw that.

As for the CEO I thought the last RNS stated that this is progressing well, I thought various candidates had already been interviewed?

EG. Two days ago an email from IOF to a PI had a slip in it re a company name.

It's a big name but exactly why that name popped up is unclear. I have a fair idea, but it covers two IOF sectors so without more it's difficult to judge which sector and to what extent, so it's sits in the unknown basket.

Other threads would have posted that email, over-egged it, and posted it.

Well, I have no idea when the CEO will be appointed and those who say it is near won't divulge their sources!

like I said at 240 when some were saying about the 250 break out. Don't chase the price, it's best to wait for solid updates.

So on the view of wait, I can see that view entirely. It's always been the same on this BB, share the info and potential, and let investors decide. I don't worry about price entry points just prospects, but I never chase prices on any shares.

The end game is no different, and I preach caution on all shares. I watch ATUK and once again it has taken off of short term interest. Once again subject to no updates it will probably drop back, but price chasing has happened. It's a common theme on all shares.

I mentioned ASOS the other day, great growth, a high share price, but a 400 PE at that high price. Plenty of talk of a take out which probably keeps confidence high. But at some point if there is no take out, things level off or competition knocks performance, then a balance will be made somewhere.

A few more for me on that drop.

The potential is all still in tact.Trading Bots foooooking about with the share price.

Glad I can buy a few here and there at these lower prices having watched on the sidelines as the share price soared to 240+.

Easy BUY and HOLD imo.

'I dont know why people keep hinting that the CEO is near but I doubt they have any knowledge,'

Incorrect, but it depends on who you mean by 'people'

Spot on, I'd say.

To try to put all this into perspective. Those that have been invested for months (or years) have already bought into the dream and the prospects and will hang on in the expectation of all the plans being rolled out albeit getting delayed for various reasons.

However if I were a prospective investor right now I would be holding back seeing only the things written about delays (perceived as broken promises), no confirmation of any profit yet from the company and the really terrible message that the key founder CEO etc etc has gone and is no longer even a Director. (Consultant means nothing). That is so destabilising.

Frankly all the constantly repeated "opportunity" stuff would not pursued me to invest right now. So if new PI's are not investing and some will be exiting either through loss of "bottle" or forced through SB pressures, then unless the II's are piling in there is bound to be share price weakening - simple.

I dont know why people keep hinting that the CEO is near but I doubt they have any knowledge, what I do know is that of all the things on the hit list to me that is the most vital and until that happens the rest is all in a vacuum as will be the share price which even at this lower level is now very much more pricing the future than anything current.

Sg, I know this is a blip, in fact I have some cash ready to add to my holding, just waiting at the moment. Good point about working together with Ames (or another) if depot build is going to be after winter. Good arrangement for both parties, and will surely be given consideration I should think.

Will it be this price with production rates up 15 fold by the year end or higher, as they anticipate, would it matter if it was a 500mt rate with with 1000mt expected within a month or two.

500mt adds $25m to 30m in revenue just on the raw product, that's before whatever they achieve the pods and any plants next year. If they get to a 1000 rate or above, it's $55m $60m on top of what they get from the chem div.

Water, if they say revenue next year, it doesn't matter if the permit came next month or December, January.

The next year comment will be simply based on the feasibility of building a water depot in a minus 40c Montana winter. That was said at a presentation. Depots are not expensive or difficult to build, but a Montana winter is not the time to do it.

Personally if the permit comes in Q3 they then have to decide if they can get a depot in quickly, before winter. No idea re that one but I doubt they would.

However I don't see why, if they get the permit in good time, that they don't do a short deal with someone like Ames.

Ames have a depot or two and are waiting on rights themselves. Just logic but they could sell through Ames or another and Ames iof would get a cut of the revenue.

The fact is the water bureau's want properly managed depots, as the demand is causing illegal extraction and problems for them.
