NO you like to be a little more sneaky.

I tell it like it is and you are a coward. To haunt another posters board when news which dropped them 20% at one point was released and to gloat is disgusting.

You had no reason to start slating our investment. I have never came on here and tried that. Even when it fell of a cliff a few weeks ago. I wish all the holders here the best and and have no view on the company either way

but you!

rugrat,

Also very little permitting and/or rig action in Woodward, I suspect the thing that makes the trench area so attractive for iodine extraction (copious brine) is a significant disincentive to oilies.

Unless they are starting some sort of charitable foundation to IOF's benefit of course.

Lib - the Woodward trench (an old river channel in the Morrow formation) runs more or less N-S and is about 40 miles west of the 'action'. Definitely no connection with the MidStates wells.

What a crock GDL is.

Just 26 wells in H1 from all those extra rigs and staff. how can it be 'slow' they have the contract to drill 100.

Now I know why they refused to answer certain questions earlier in the year. Full of BS and misleading info/rns's

It's an old one I know dating back to 2003, they are working on 3-400 ppms and I suspect that the high ppm's that IOF are finding are concentrated in that 'trench'....... maybe they have mapped it out now hence the core target area.

'Two companies, Iochem Corp. and Woodward Iodine Corp., have staked their claim to mining iodine out of brine water found in a narrow 70-mile trench deep below the surface of western Oklahoma.'

'Every month Iochem processes one million barrels of brine water to extract 100 metric tons of iodine, said Bruce Hamel, vice president of sales for Iochem.'

That core area in OK is key to significant upgrades in their production capability.

Eagle/mid-states had 5 SWD sites to take 60k bpd each, before the Miss Play boom. Sandridge have 116.

If you take the original Investec note, they put io2 as 169mt and generic plants at 105mt, with 12 plants by 2016. So they were talking up to 1500mt by 2016.

In theory 30k bpd plants in that area should mean ranges of 400mt to 700mt per plant.

If they have 50k sites in the 400ppm range then that would be near a 1000mt plant.

12 plants in the 'hot' area as above is significantly different to what any note has said. First Columbus put io3 as a 125 mt plant.

So we'll just have to wait and see which is the correct version.

jointer: (5288) you beat me to it: was rereading this RNS yesterday and 'the next 12 months' jumped out. Considering all that's gone on, would be remarkarble if it matches the August 'ping' quoted by Lance at the AGM :-) Makes perfect sense though if data based on the performance of IO2 and I03 is released, as SG has said in more detail. This surely can surely be extrapolated with confidence by anyone with a basic calculator to I06 and beyond.

The development of the Mississippi Lime had been impacted due to the quantity and expense involved in disposing of the brine water. These obstacles have been overcome and now Baker Hughes estimates there are 92 rigs actively working in the core area.4 With the robust quantity of water and concentration of iodine, the Mississippi Lime has afforded Iofina with an enormous opportunity utilising one of the largest waste streams in North America. Iofina's proven IOsorb™ technology allows operators to reduce costs associated with the disposal of their brine stream. This allows our partners to reduce their operational expense compared to non-Iofina partners in the area.
Iofina is currently working with several of the area's largest producers and continues to expand its presence. The Company currently has two plants producing iodine, one in the Mississippi Lime and construction has commenced on IO#3. Construction of IO#4 is expected to be completed circa 30 days after IO#3. The Company plans to have a total of five IOsorb™ plants operating in the Mississippi Lime by year end with growth beyond that anticipated throughout the coming years.

a reminder

Iofina's business strategy is to identify, develop, build, own and operate iodine extraction plants currently focused in North America based on Iofina's WET® IOsorb™ technology. The board believes that the success experienced by the Company in 2012 will be the catalyst for the construction and commissioning of many more successful plants throughout Iofina's targeted regions.
Commenting on today's news, Lance Baller, CEO and President stated:
"The Board is pleased with the commissioning of the Group's second IO#2 iodine extraction plant, which takes Iofina one step closer to becoming a major player in the global iodine market.
I would like to thank all Iofina employees for their relentless dedication, commitment and focus in making 2012 a highly successful year. I would also like to thank Iofina shareholders for their patience and commitment to the Group from our inception as our business model developed into what we have today and the success that it will afford. We are looking forward to an exciting next twelve months."

I'm a long-term bull of Xcite Energy, that's positive.

I'm a bear of Sirius Minerals. Negative, true.

I'm a long-term bull of Beowulf Mining. That's positive.

So all-in-all I'm more positive than negative. Don't believe the hype, read posts properly before you make the mistake of labeling anyone who differs to the general tone a troll. Easy to jump on the bandwagon, more difficult to think independently. You are upset by my posts, but you'll see I'm right.

I'll get no thanks, but hey ... I don't aim to be popular, just right.

I've repeatedly said this firm has good growth potential, maybe £5m this, £10m next. That's good growth. That's positive.

It's not my fault the stock is overvalued by over one pound sterling a share.
