"at what point would a prospective bidder be given confidential access to management accounts?"

Never, this will not be taken over, it will go under first.

"Is there a level of share ownership before this can happen?"

Read the above sunshine.

So far you've proved you can delay all the roll-outs, and you can miss all production targets ... what else? Oh yeah, you can't fund this so-called "business" from cash-flow or profits.

So far so bad. Massively overvalued stock, due an almighty correction.

Going back to the possibility of a takeover, at what point would a prospective bidder be given confidential access to management accounts? Is there a level of share ownership before this can happen? Can anyone out there enlighten me?

The PR is the last thing I am worried about right now. Let the rollout of IO3/4 happen then shout from the hills.

With the talk of PR appointment at the head office, what the hell do Yellow Jersey do? Do they get paid a retainer ? Never hear a squeak from them...............

Engelo ok, watch this space, personally I expect news next week - Electric hook up and the need to collect sufficient data before release. When the janitor replied to me i expect he/she imparted encouraging because thats what i wanted to hear and thats what they hoped for too .... optimisim in abundance. I also think that they will want to be within striking distance of IO3. When the good news starts to flow like the brine we won't get a trickle of information we will have the equivalent of a deluge and that's because it will be time to get the share price up. By the way I have said all year £5 by Christmas. This is all opinion, I know more about climbing Mt Ventoux than I do about IOF's plans for an RNS next week. Anyway I will choose my flowery words carefully and see what the janitor comes up with if anything.

Thanks, madchick. That's pretty much the scenario I have in mind. BTW, until last year I was living in Annecy, and Geneve was our nearest airport - so have crossed the border into Switzerland countless times.

WRITZ - I've been in a few shares that have been taken over for cash (RIFT, SYNC, and a third insurance tech company whose name I cannot remember!). As far as I can remember, there's not a long wait to get the cash and, of course, no trading fees. You are right that usually the share price approaches the takeover price, so it's usually a close call as to whether to sell your shares on the market and think you can do better between now and the day the cash is due or to wait and get the full price. On the whole, I would wait for the extra since the markets are so unpredictable and I'm not sure I would necessarily make more than the gap percentage by selling earlier, but I guess if an opportunity happened to arise that you wanted to take advantage of, then you could sell.

Not sure if that helps - but I really don't think I had to wait for the cash and I'm in Switzerland and when there are rights issues, I always seem to be the last to receive the offer and the last to receive the shares, but no such perception with the ready money!

engelo - to be fair most didn't think this ISA change would be operative until next April, so it would not surprise me to hear others might have followed your course, to take advantage of some potentially good growth here before next April....anyway as they say in tax planning, don't let the tail wag the dog....

orslega: yes a very good point but got my timing wrong: took a number of holdings out of my ISA wrapper a few months ago to put in here :-(

'performance has lacked' :-) Very tactful. Old dogs I call them :-)

engelo and annual limit (£11,520), yes.

But also doesn't stop you re-gigging old share ISAs where performance has lacked - ie a switch from other previously non qualifying AIM shares where better performance expected...eg Iofina, blinkx etc

pcjoe - please post back your findings. I've got a chunk of shares in a HL account which would be elligible for bed and isa.
