Spelling that out on trades (which can be wrong). Friday saw over 200k sold with little buying and today the same developing picture.

Last Monday it sneaked to 50p which normally means resistance, by Friday it was up 10% even though the basics suggest 200k to 250k shares more have been sold than bought.

So a real head scratcher for the traders and chart folk, as so far it's not behaving as normal.

Someone seems to be happy to keep the bid in place.

Usually we get more buys then sells and it goes down, and more sells it goes down. Make a cup of tea and it goes down.

There have been a fair number of sells since the mid to late 40's jump up to low 50's, but the price pressed on to mid 50's. Which for IOF is most unusual and it probably has the chart trading folk head scratching.

Someone equally seems to be buying, and the folk I know don't think there is much stock about.

It's not been this solid for so along for some time.

I'd still love to know what the 1 mill of MMs sells was all about. That definitely seemed like a game of some type to me, a game that eventually failed, as they ran out of stock.

GMP the broker have been hovering around the bid in recent times.

SG - it's been like that for a couple of weeks and is their end not yours. Given the webserver is up but it looks like the database isn't I'd say it's more likely to be a tech issue which nobody has noticed. There is precendent for that, their website and email were down for a fortnight a year or so back because they'd forgotten to renew the domain.

Where has the ioditech website gone??

Could be my computer playing up, temporary glitch or another iodine casualty.

Angel: thanks. Portable units would be a BIG step forwards, and just hope they RNS it. Been hidden under the floorboards so far, and can't blame the Nomad for that.

I was told that they were sending a photographer out in the field to update pics on website and to possibly show the portable units as well. That was two weeks ago but as yet no change.

Looking forward to the update in next 10 days or so. Should have been quite a period of change with the 2 new plants hopefully just about producing the purple stuff.
Should be an ok month production wise since on the 9th July they said they had seen a strong start to the month. I assume by then they had already done over 10t.
Also looking back at the old statements they said there had been no start up issues with IO#5 so that should be producing a reasonable sum in August.

Also hope to get mini update.

Thanks for the touching concern - I've arrived in New Orleans this afternoon and currently listening to jazz while tucking Into a prawn creole ! ( gorgeous )
Unlikely to worry too much about anything !

Bit of healthy retracement is a good thing IMO. I am only interested in the prospects for 6-12 months away. Roll on the update next week...GLA

I'm not trying to persuade you to buy.

You want to go short and can't get them on IG, there are plenty of other companies besides IG.

I was just telling you what the IG circs were, helping out so to speak, and now you know where to find the percentage long/short data.

Spreadex and City Index do Iofina so try them.

fest

Work it out

Ennismore had X amount at a particular point and every troll that appeared claimed to have a big short.

Then Mr B came back as a buyer, at which point X amount of shares were shown as short. plus/minus etc = either the recording systems are wrong or it is fun and games.

The various points of reference which some like to see, suggest the latter.

So there is no point in any investor, getting wound up about what is a bit of banter.

SuperG / MM3.I think MM3's question is a fair one, but one that we could never expect a real answer too.If I were him, I would not divulge 'what I knew and when' .... how could I possibly benefit from it?SuperG, I don't think this is about AB selling any shares, it's about him borrowing them for the short he profited from, whilst mugs like me were vainly 'averaging down'I would be surprised records of that were available to you or anyone really. But..... WTFDIK?

MM3

I recorded details of where Mr B sold, how many between what dates, and the rumour as to why. It is all part of old research which I keep

I just checked and all is not as it seems. I see no reason to share the details of a current IOF supporter.

Mr B is having a bit of fun goading a few.

An accusation of what?

Anyway, I am sure mister big is grateful for all of your responses for him.

I thought it was more along the lines of an accusation than a question MM£.

AB used to be alongside CF and P C-G who were both connected to Brightside and IOF.

AB was previously a large shareholder and the details of his last exit I believe are on one of these threads somewhere.

I heard the sale of IOF shares was part of a fighting fund, rumoured to perhaps buy Brightside, or indeed set up elsewhere, which seems to have been the case.

Hence my comment about not being sure about Mr B's claims of selling because it was over-priced and then shorting it.

Sorry, I can't see you persuading me to be net long in IOF for any length of time. So far, in common with many AIM companies, its track record has been one of hope over delivery. Perhaps it's different this time.

That was my point. If Arron had come on here at 250p and denounced the stock's value as being ridiculous and said he was shorting it he'd have been slaughtered by all the rampers, who rather amusingly all love him now. Funny old world eh?
