Netters,

Sold 20pc when they were up 5 fold. Didn't expect them to fall back this far even factoring in slippage. Been pondering this weekend and will add this week. Sentiment completely overcooked here.
You still in XEL?I chucked in towel in Autumn.Had owned for a year.

Anything else you like at moment?

Hey Monty,

Have you sold any IOF shares?

It sounds very simplistic but from here I think the share price will go up as iodine production goes up.

As the weather is improving and 3 new plants will come on line in next 10 weeks it should comfortably double production above 2t per day. We can expect a major re-rating if they do this.

I invested in this for the lowest cost iodine production in the world and that's all management should really be focusing on right now.

Well, we are where we are with the share price I guess but the fact remains, despite what the bashers are saying, Iofina are producing and selling iodine, constructing plants and have some very nice extras on the horizon. The price won't stay here for long...

reason IOF was noticed so much on pullback was because of the hights it got to. was going to invest at 39p but never did. bought around 160p only held short time on way up.

yes tim. my view is that investors got carried away with share and price got to far ahead of itself. i am in PLE that fell back 50% . seems only because of management mistakes that cost 6 months.

continued...that is down to a number of things not just Iofina missing targets. I am not saying everything is rosy but although not as quickly as first thought, the company is still growing and producing a needed product.

Mail, I agree a lot of people have lost a lot of money for a variety of reasons on this share. The share price has been battered unfairly

In amongst all this bashing, people need to remember that although it may be a boring subject, the world needs Iodine and Iofina are the worlds cheapest producer with patents in place. That can only mean good things for this company.

Water remains a bit of a red herring IMO. I just want to have an RNS in next 10 days to confirm the next 2 plants are running. It should mean a dramatic increase in iodine production which is what it is all about. Seems they are having no problem in selling iodine which is a big positive. The chemicals division must be showing v good year on year growth.

che7win,

How much pre-tax profit do you yourself predict IOF will make in 2014 & 2015?

I don't want you to rehash what brokers paid by IOF have trotted-out, what do you personally think?

It's a simple question that requires a simple answer.

I don't even want your reasoning, just 2 numbers.

they seem to be out in force

stock Bashing: "This scheme is usually orchestrated by savvy online message board posters (a.k.a. "Bashers") who make up false and/or misleading information about the target company in an attempt to get shares to a cheaper price. This activity, in most cases, is conducted by posting libelous posts on multiple public forums

My other point is to make people aware that you are a newly created avatar but are obviously not a newcomer to ADVFN. So why have you created this avatar? What is your ulterior motive?
I still see no firm evidence of legal proceedings. Scaremongering perhaps?

BTW, no wonder they are having difficulty with the permit if they are already threatening the DNRC with legals, and want to take them on regarding their ability to legislate over beneficial use of their own water, and I thought they were such pals - truly shocking, but I guess their lawyers must love it.....

Posted by reputed Ennismore plant?

BTW, your other point is to ridiculous to comment on.

Perhaps you'd like to explain the legal proceedings - what they're about, which court etc. If such proceedings in fact exist then we can give you a view.
By the way for such a recent avatar you don't half post a lot!

Guys, any comment on the claim on the other thread regarding the legal proceedings aspect for water? The company would surely have come clean about that if true? Understand it's non-core and they have enough issues with the core business but even so?

AFAIR Evil Kneivil went short at QPP at about 6p last year, said it was virtually certain to go bust... he has a decent track record but plenty of howlers too...
