19/12/2013 15:01 | Jack. Glad that we agree. You stated "The fact they stated it's non core tells you how the feel imo" That is your reading of it. My reading was that they stated it is non core to remind the market that water is a bonus and that they are concentrating efforts on Iodine. It tells you nothing about how they "feel" it is going. I never read the thread that you quote. I don't base my investment on reading one person's blog on a BB. Anybody doing that is asking for a problem. I am sitting on a paper loss this week because this went south. I do think this will head north in Q1 or will be taken over. The BoD should have learned a lesson now in how not to word an RNS. | ![]() killerbudgie

19/12/2013 14:46 | jamonit - But where does your understanding regarding the water permit come from? | ![]() meadow2
19/12/2013 14:40 | Killerbudgie I agree. it's non core. | ![]() jackabite
19/12/2013 14:32 | Well it's non core because...and here is the trick...its non core. Iodine production is core. Water is by-product. If I were CEO I would also call it non core. It's a bonus if it comes off but cannot divert the company from it's core business. And nor should it! | ![]() killerbudgie
19/12/2013 14:29 | letters of intent do not provide reasons or justification for the beneficial use of the water. What are you talking about? | ![]() jackabite
19/12/2013 14:27 | The fact they stated it's non core tells you how the feel imo. They have accepted the decision imo and any appeal will be futile. | ![]() jackabite
19/12/2013 14:27 | Yesterday che7win posted a rather large precise of a conversation with Gary Gatchell. Hmmm...I wonder who is closer to the correct information? che7win 18 Dec'13 - 20:14 - 13442 of 13603 Gary Gatchell, Executive Director and Finance Director. 3.The water application: I inquired on the beneficial use, they have letters of intent to back up the application. Gary described it as just 'a bump' in the process. It definitely isn't rejected. | ![]() killerbudgie
19/12/2013 14:26 | Well you can't argue with stupid | ![]() captain_kurt
19/12/2013 14:24 | jamonit Nice name and very appropriate, any relation to jamtomorrow? anyway, can you advise of where your understanding of the missing information in the application came from because it certainly does not state that in the rns? My understanding is that they have went back to the drawing board to see if they can beef the application up but considering all the DD was done prior to submitting the application I fail to see where additional benefits can come from because the beneficial use of the water was already stated in it's entirety as far as your BOD were concerned and so it's FINISHED! | ![]() jackabite
19/12/2013 14:17 | Swings up and down are part of backing a growing business. The delays are into Q1, which is only weeks away. When this turns and it will, the chase will be on and sentiment will focus on the Q1 deliverables | ![]() captain_kurt
19/12/2013 14:14 | captain_kurt - thanks for that. It's not long to wait, in the grand scheme of things. | rhwillcol
19/12/2013 14:14 | captain K I will assume your guys made a case for the beneficial use of the water? well, looks like the case made was not good enough. Now, when they submitted the case for beneficial use of the water I assume they pulled out all the stops and used the factual evidence to support their claims? Well, it was not good enough. It's finished! | ![]() jackabite

19/12/2013 14:07 | If the response from Iofina has merit then the objection received and "Hearing Scheduled For" boxes will be dated. Those are the facts | ![]() captain_kurt
19/12/2013 14:05 | Jack, nice of you to comment with no facts to hand lol | ![]() captain_kurt
19/12/2013 14:04 | Meadow They will not get the permit. It's finished. | ![]() jackabite
19/12/2013 14:04 | It's up to 15 days for Iofina to submit a written response. If it has merit then a hearing is scheduled. That hearing could take place in 30 days | ![]() captain_kurt
19/12/2013 14:01 | I believe that the 15 days is a consulting/sorting out period. Presumably, the authorities will then review their decision. Could be sometime before any news comes. Not looking good, in my opinion, but would love to be proved wrong! | ![]() meadow2 |
