19/12/2013 05:47 | I believe superg1 has moved in with tara7 to a little bungalow on Orkney named 'Let's Not Face The Music'. No Internet, no phone line, no mobiles . . . just good times recounting stories about when they knew it all. However, when the stories get near their end it's ALWAYS time for someone to take the bins out.Let us celebrate their new lives, away from the hustle and bustle of real life! They've both earned it ('it' being a 50% plummet in their favourite share pumps in the past couple of weeks). | ![]() albany30
19/12/2013 01:23 | Can someone explain to me why Superg is no longer posting on IOF? What is his game? Is he a paid ramper or what? | calico1
19/12/2013 01:12 | to me this stock has had a fantastic run. chart says it all. needs hold around here 2009 high area. | mail2
19/12/2013 00:31 | Hi Worraps...I think we have all learned lessons with this stock whether it be not to get too geared (if at all), not to give stock tips to friends and family even if you think it's going to make them lots of money and (as you say) not to have all the eggs in one basket or not to get too greedy if one makes a decent turn....The volatility has frightened the life out of many but on the risk scale.. a smaller company resource aim stock is very high risk so comes with those high risks are high potential rewards but on the down side a high potential for capital loss........But... psychology is a funny thing. Many were happy to pay well over £2 for this when we had just 1 (and a half) plants operational, but are panicking when we have 3 running.... ironically imo the business has derisked somewhat since then and will continue to do so as more plants come on line. Someone once told me when choosing stocks "if you invest in things people need then you shouldn't go far wrong".... people NEED iodine (industry, pharma, individuals for health, agriculture. .. the lust goes on). It just so happens that the resource is scarce in terms of where it can be produced. It just so happens that there are only a handful of firms who have the expertise to extract it. It just so happens that one of those firms has half the costs of the others...You are invested in that business worraps. Good luck in whatever you decide to do but given time I like Chewin think (and hope) that this could still be a very good investment. | ![]() supreme mo
18/12/2013 23:50 | supreme mo I'm pleased you are your own person, that's good to hear. And I'm pleased you are still here, and confident with it, and also that you are in other shares too, which I hope you do well with. Your thought of the day....well, I got that thought too, and acted upon it,...although nervously I have to say. Yesterday I sold half my holding here in panic, probably like many others. But, I still have a large holding, and I'm going to try to diversify to have a more varied portfolio. I made a big mistake with putting everything in here. A lesson learned, as I wrote earlier today. I can only hope my purchase this morning will, as you say, lower my average in the portion I had left. | ![]() worraps
18/12/2013 23:20 | Che, thanks for the time and effort - 6 months ago I would have accepted every word without question but I'm not certain everything will be as you posted. Not a cynical person by nature but when numerous rns from BOD vary significantly within very short periods, then senior personnel's unofficial reports/conversation Pointless blaming PR if key personnel cannot even agree on what should be released and the 'under the radar' excuse has seen it's day - if anything, this company has either gone completely the other way and intent on understating everything OR they themselves have lost confidence in their own forecasts on sales, production, expansion and delivery and forced to paint a gloomy picture. Guys, I don't know but a dear friend once told me, don't fall in love - he was not talking about girls (or boys)! | ramu kumar
18/12/2013 23:18 | worraps - 18 Dec 2013 - 22:03 - 13467 of 13480......Ah, so that's where superg has been these last days. That's the first time I've visited HAWK, and there they all are! superg, pcjoe, Festario, diggulden, Dorset64, Plasybryn, JonC, crazycoops, supreme mo. superg seems fine and happy....that's good, isn't it?Sometimes I can feel a wry smile creep across my face.Worraps im here too and in FUM and in HAWK and in IDM and in TND as well as a couple of others.... I am a my own person and make my own investment decisions. I think if you look back through the Hawk thread you will see I have been in those since 6p and posting there many months back... Still have a large position here and will be here for the foreseeable future. I see no reason to sell whatsoever. For the record I haven't sold a share during this downturn nor have I been 'stopped out'Thought of the day for those who bought at higher prices... by buying at these prices is likely to substantially bring down your average purchase price...Che7win. Thanks very much for your update - greatly appreciated. | ![]() supreme mo

18/12/2013 22:16 | Thanks for the feedback guys. I don't have blinkers on, I am optimistic, more so than the market, but please realise that this is an early stage growth company. Hurricane, on the PPM (point 1), that point was made about investor perception of plant output as previously being too optimistic. | ![]() che7win

18/12/2013 22:10 | Phew! Hyper-active thread, but very much sobered up at last. Thanks, che & others. Time to let the company get on with it. Markets will be markets & hard facts are needed. I doubt we'll be waiting very long. GLA. | ![]() napoleon 14th
