11/12/2013 21:25 | JC, you can turn it off. Go to config and turn 'Auto add BB Alert when posting' to Off. | ![]() diggulden
11/12/2013 21:16 | Has anybody noticed in the last few days a little 'Add Alert' box has appeared to the top right of the 'Post an article on this thread' box. What happens is every time you open a thread to read the posts this main 'Post an article on this thread' box and the 'Add Alert' box appear at the end of the posts. The alert box is automatically checked. You have to un-check it otherwise you get an email alert every time (yes every time) someone posts. If you switch from one thread to another and back; from one share to another and back, this little Add Alert box will be (re-)checked. If you don't un-check it EVERYTIME, you'll find, as I did, more than 250 email alerts for the past three days plus some other advertising and sales promotion from ADVFN. (I use a secondary email address for ADVFN, but it's been a real pain sorting out the wheat from their chaff) I'm close to kicking ADVFN into touch anyway and this has more or less called my hand. | ![]() johncsimpson
11/12/2013 19:16 | Even the 100k sale at 15.30 reported late ( why the price collapsed?) didn't make the total traded look much higher than recent days. Still low volumes, makes price easy to move. | freshvoice
11/12/2013 17:39 | Thanks Matrix Nice to see Whitman Howard "Investment Considerations" match my reasons for investing at post 12142 it is always reassuring to have a 2nd party come to the same conclusions. | ![]() trav5
11/12/2013 17:31 | Cordone A little more complicated. MMs are hedging the short (and long) contracts they have underwritten. I believe Ennis open short positions using CFDs, an over the counter contract and as such they do not actually own or borrow any stock, they own a contract. We have no idea about the terms of the contract, but the contract will be with a MM. So the MMs hedge the position to ensure they do not loose out. | lgm1
11/12/2013 17:30 | No Angel of the North tonight?I fear that the drastic end of day collapse was just too much for him to survive. Nasty wasn't it.However, my friend Investment Guru chose 146.8p to buy heavily again today. A masterstroke possibly. | ![]() festario

11/12/2013 17:13 | some good info there dig. just a matter of waiting for the permit, all beurocracy, dont you just love it. its taken a long time to get to this stage, should'nt be too far off now. and to think this is just a bonus to our core business. | ![]() jointer13
11/12/2013 16:42 | Bobsworth, the FT has most likely been played by those who have an interest in seeing Iofina's share price decline, it was certainly not insightful journalism. Clearly a role here for Iofina's PR company. | lgm1
11/12/2013 16:41 | Re the Montana Water permit application. I have found a copy of the environmental assessment that was completed. This goes to show the level of planning that has gone into this water application and makes it all official I guess. The important bits: 'The pipeline is proposed to be constructed in the fall of 2013 or spring of 2014 once all water permits are acquired. The pipeline would be used on a year around basis to transport water to the fresh water depot.' 'The volume of water to be transported would be approximately 80,000 barrels of water per day (BPD).' 'they have received authorization from the other landowners (private) in which the pipeline would cross' Gives some written confirmation to something we have only heard about so far. | ![]() diggulden
11/12/2013 16:28 | bal1man The manipulation here almost mirrors that which we have experienced in BLNX. I have been in BLNX for 5+ years and some of the trading patterns are very similar, it is my belief that the MM's are very well aware of the potential here (as indeed they were/are with BLNX) and it is part of their ploy to frustrate us PI's out. This behaviour more than ever strengthens my conviction that those with patience will be well rewarded. | ![]() pokerpearson
11/12/2013 16:26 | Makes you think they really want our shares????? | ![]() diggerking
11/12/2013 16:22 | Price being manipulated a lot here. 10p drop in seconds then 6p rise. Very dishonest of the mms. All caused by spread betting I suspect. Fast rise, traders buy, fast drop, they get stopped out. I've held for 6 months, bought it at £1.60. Nothing I've seen leads me to think anything other than I am risking a 20% short term loss for a very good chance of a 200-300% gain in 12 months. So I'll let the mm's play their games while we await the news, then I'm confident it will move upwards. Not ramping here, it's basic risk v reward analysis. | ![]() rickcanning
11/12/2013 16:21 | manipulation? looks like someone doesn't want the price 2 rise with the usual end of day dip. | ![]() bal1man
11/12/2013 16:20 | Bobsworth:_ I have been trying to loacate the FT article in International Paper Edition. Could you advise when it was published and in which section ? Thanks in advance. | ![]() pugugly

11/12/2013 16:02 | Time to write to the great Financial times as it misses the key impact weakening Iodine prices will have on Iofina! The headline should have read "All up for grabs by Iofina as world Iodine prices weaken" The irony is that this predicted weakening in price is actually being caused by Iofina's increasing its production in 2014. The impact of this on Sirocco Mining in Chile, that currently supply 58% of the world iodine,is significant because they have a very high production cost (capex) of $40/kg. Already this weakening in Iodine prices is hurting them badly with mines closing and 400 miners laid off in Q4 2013. Iofina in comparison have a very low capex of $10 to $15/kg depending on which plant they use. This means a slight drop in the iodine price to $45/kg will not hurt Iofina at all. Instead as predicted they will simply end up grabbing a bigger and bigger share of the iodine market. A key point the Financial Times failed to highlight!!!!! | ![]() bobsworth
11/12/2013 15:35 | for you bog... the most beautiful poster on here; | n3tleylucas
11/12/2013 14:45 | Bogg1e, I think (and hope) that you're quite correct. The mkt is taking advantage of past delays and disappointments to drop the price to flush out the weaker holders. With a little bit of positive newsflow that sentiment ought to swing in our favour. That's when those just watching the price drifting about currently will chase after limited stock. Should be fun! | cordone
11/12/2013 13:52 | I thought after the IO4 delay that we would see 140p, but 150p-ish has proved strong support...again. So 150p should underpin us for the new year. IO4 and 5 up and running relatively quickly plus water news + a little time for the market to absorb the updates, we should be at least double where we are now by march 2014. | bogg1e
11/12/2013 13:48 | Hey Matrix you old dog get buying a few will you... | pigeon1 |
