11/7/2024 09:32 | megaman2, how long have you been investing? The share price is at 23p because that's the price at which they raised £56m at the start of May. I have never seen an example of a growth stock raising capital and then trading at the broker target price within 2 months. As for the pipeline, have you listened to the IMC presentation from last week? At 45mins the CFO discusses the main drivers for UK projects; 1. Their capital position has unlocked a lot of project discussions 2. The cap & floor scheme announced in January generated significant interest from developers, utilities & financiers wanting to talk to Invinity He then went on to state that a 50Mw 6 hour system is a 300Mwh system, and that such a system would generate revenues north of £100-120m to Invinity. 'So those are enormous opportunities, and the regime is focused very much on, seemingly, the technology we have' I think you'll find that if IES announced a deal of that magnitude, the share price will be a lot closer to the broker target, and the 2025 broker target could in fact be based on just 1 contract win. | ![]() philly cheesesteak
11/7/2024 06:37 | Once evidence to confirm the 300 MWh broker projection will be delivered in 2025 which is just round the corner I'm sure the share price will advance substantially...as it stands with very little on the base case for 2025 the share price at c 23 p is not believing this broker projection and time is ticking to feasibly deliver ... they need to announce large contracts asap and state they will complete 2025 and not further out. 70 %+ of the advanced pipeline needs to contract and complete within the next 17 and half months to achieve this . Certainly the timelines from announcement to delivery would have to increase dramatically from historical evidence even if 300 mwh was contracted tomorrow one would question if that could be delivered in 2025 . That's why the share price is where it is . With grants ,governments , planning & huge increase in manufacturing involved the timeline looks very ropey it's up to the company to prove the share price wrong for once. Like England they need some fresh legs and goal scorers ..zulch shouldn't start or kane imo. Both off the pace . | ![]() megaman2

10/7/2024 15:20 | If Cleve Hill can get through planning then almost any other project can. The site is near a large population and will interfere with local wildlife that was thought to be protected. I drew the local protest group's attention to the fire hazard 2-3years ago and even the local fire department didn't know of the fire hazard lithium posed back then. The outfit that will build the farm will quickly sell it on so they were not interested in buying the safer Vanadium alternative due to the initial price differential. If Mistral had been around back then, the decision on battery choice might well have been different as that might have answered that big objection. Who knows? | ![]() mikemine1
10/7/2024 14:04 | Sadly Cleve Hill Solar Project huge battery installation can go ahead after appealing Swale Council decision to not allow it . It looks like the Council will be paying it's appeal costs too. This Solar site was a hope for IES batteries according to posters on here or LSE in the days when IES was RED . | ![]() greenmachine2
10/7/2024 13:36 | Dont forget that the Global Warming Policy Foundation and Net Zero Watch are sceptical of the impact of climate change of humans on climate change. Fellow posters don't forget to modify the http bit of a link to change to a Capital letter somewhere. | ![]() greenmachine2
10/7/2024 13:27 | Re post #6972 . The link is an article by Paul Homewood. I think the original post was on As a press release it is of course scant on detail and arguably misleading. Whilst it is true, according to well researched analysis that excess intermittent renewables will depress prices in the UK at times and ultimately limit the investment case for them, many market modifications are being proposed and actioned to deal with this in the UK. Of interest to IES holders like me is the plans for a cap and floor mechanism for storage market that we can hope improves prospects for LDES revenues. | ![]() greenmachine2

10/7/2024 11:11 | Broker projections as discussed already need c300 mwh to be -£2 mill ebita next year . It's a lot of new contracts needing to advance to the base case ..c70% of the advanced needs to convert and by next year ..historically I don't believe that has played out .. All the company are saying about targets is they aim to break even before the cash runs out not necessarily next year . .they rapidly and substantially need to increase the base case which as it stands has actually gone down since November . The recent announcement for 4 mwh was already in the base case ...there is more or less nothing in the base case yet for next year albeit 84 MWh doe contracts pending ... Indiestu the broker says pbt is c lower by c 20 % than ebita so would put it lower . But agreed would be a dream come true regardjess c £15 mill net earnings. A 30 times pe is c £450 mill mkt cap c £1 per share . Any signs that base case can take us there and rapid share price re-rate is upon us. | ![]() megaman2
