"This is how crazy Tesla Energy's battery storage deployment growth was in Q2 2024. Up 157% YoY, and up 132% QoQ

This suggests Tesla's Lathrop Megapack factory is almost nearing full operational capacity, which is 40 GWh per year. Tesla's new Megapack factory, currently under construction in Shanghai, is also designed to have a 40 GWh annual capacity. This new factory is expected to start production in the first or second quarter of 2025.

Tesla Energy is just getting started."

SRP seeks non-lithium, 10-hour energy storage solutions to meet rising power demand.Salt River Project says it needs to double or triple the resource capacity on its system by 2035, including through long-duration energy storage.Published June 27, 2024Salt River Project has issued a pair of requests for proposals for non-lithium, long-duration energy storage projects capable of discharging for 10 hours. The Arizona public power utility is seeking inverter and non-inverter based solutions with capacities ranging from 5 MW to 50 MW.SRP said it is experiencing record growth and its integrated system plan predicts the need to double or triple the amount of generating resource capacity on its system by 2035, including long-duration storage.Long-duration storage is increasingly seen as a way to balance decarbonizing electric grids for days, or even hours, and could deliver consumers $10 billion to $20 billion in reduced operating costs by 2050, according to the U.S. Department of Energy.SRP already has multiple lithium-ion battery projects coming online but "with the significant growth in our service territory, it is important we continue to pilot new types of energy storage technologies," Chico Hunter, the utility's manager of innovation and development, said in a statement. In one RFP, SRP is seeking a non-lithium-ion inverter-based LDES technology to come online no later than 2028. The resource will be located at the Copper Crossing Energy and Research Center in Florence, Arizona, which will also host a 5-MW, 10-hour storage project developed by CMBlu Energy. In the second RFP, SRP is seeking a non-lithium-ion, non-inverter based project to pilot at its coal-fired Coronado Generating Station in St. Johns, Arizona. The plant is scheduled to be decommissioned in 2032, and the utility is exploring ways to repurpose the site."We're seeking proposals from emerging storage technologies to consider how they could support achieving SRP's sustainable power system of the future," Hunter said.Along with significant demand growth in its territory, SRP said it is seeing "increasing interest from large customers in serving their energy needs with carbon-free resources." At the same time, the utility is working to reduce its carbon intensity by 82% by 2035, relative to a 2005 baseline, and reach net-zero carbon emissions by 2050."To reach these goals, SRP plans to significantly increase its solar and battery energy storage capacity. SRP is also interested in exploring alternatives to lithium-ion battery storage," the utility said in its RFP.The RFP and pilot process will help SRP to "better understand the performance and costs associated with emerging non-lithium-ion LDES technologies," the utility said. Interested parties must file a notice of intent to respond to the RFP by July 10, and final responses are due Nov. 22.

Well they need another 200 mwh plus to break even next year so they better announce something imminently or the brokers targets are wrong .

Wrong use of the word imminent. The election is imminent. IES’s orders are pending or depending.

Well was re-reading RNS 27 June 2024 and this may sum up the Capital Market Event annoucement on 27 June 2024 as well.

Delivering on Capability

Invinity's plan to deliver the capabilities that will serve these massive and growing opportunities can be summed up in one word: Mistral. Mistral is, at its most fundamental, our platform for scale. The north star for our business is to build a battery that can deliver low-cost, low-carbon renewable power on demand at a lower total cost of energy than any other source. With commercial rollout imminent, we and our regional partners are getting more inbound sales inquiries, significantly enhancing our commercial pipeline.

The word IMMINENT is 5 lines down in the paragraph. It seems probably will be on 23 July 2024.

Maybe a follow-up on the DOE 84 MWH projects or that contract that Andrew Monk mentioned in the VSA Capital Podcast in May 2024 after the Fundraise or both.

Anyways as Mikemine1 wrote "It certainly would be a show stopper to announce and demonstrate the Mistral project at the event. If they also announced the near 100MW order, that would really turn heads and probably make the national press"

I fancied going to the Capital Markets Event but my offer to the Mrs of a couple of nights away in Edinburgh fell flat when she found out a large proportion of the trip would involve looking at and hearing about VRBs! I haven’t given up on the idea, it would be even more tempting if I knew it was going to involve the mistral launch.

Snippet from the VSA report issued after the analyst presentation ..

"In the Full Year results statement IES also provided a more up to date cash position. At the end of May 2024, the Group had cash of £53.5m. IES noted in the analyst presentation that post the fundraise earlier in May 2024, some money had been spent paying down creditors for inventory secured earlier to support rising sales."

I don’t known if everyone has seen the “Notice of Capital Markets Event”.

I have a sneaking suspicion that this may be something a lot bigger than I originally thought.

They are opening up to investors to show manufacturing, Invinity’s technology and a working demonstration.

Reading this and re-reading it; it doesn’t really make sense. Why do a demonstration on a VS3 module that has been released, sold and installed for a few years. Why do this when the next gen is due to be released in H2 2024……

Oh wait! Call me a lunatic on the internet without a clue: could this be mistral release?

Show the new facility. Show the new R&D mistral working prototype! Again, I’m just an uninformed man on the internet, but I think it makes more sense.
Being candid, I have bought another £1k on Friday. Views are my own.

Here's my guess at what happens uk lodes will be delayed until early 2025 .2024 a wash out. Zilch will be sorry for the delay.

Eventually Some of the doe will get kicked into 2026.
They will land a big order but for 2026 ..but not enough to break even 2025 will be another loss ..we will be left hanging about 2026 and if they have enough cash again.

Mistral launch will be a damp squid .
Sienens will contribute 0.

Based on historical performance so far and zilch at the helm. It's up to the company to prove this wrong .

Thnx hope just ignore hammida he is not offering anything of substance to support his claims.

Quick read of the brokers note they are saying most near term & medium term are going to need funding government etc ...as seen already

The problem with that is timelines as it's another layer of bureaurocracy to deal with . It's the broker predicting £117 mill of sales next year and not the company . All the company come out with is waffle about aiming to break even before the cash runs out again..& pre-emptive excuses why that might happen ..

So for clarity hamida, you think a company with over £50m in cash and debt free should have a valuation of £40m? Of course not factoring in it's IP, patented tech, 6GW + pipeline, manufacturing capacity & premises, partnerships in Taiwan & Korea, backing of HMRC and the largest deployment of non lithium batteries globally (ex China) including the Canadian, US & UK governments as customers.Would love to see the calcs for your valuation.

It is entirely legit to recognise revenue at stages during s stage payment contract. Their approach of recognising revenue on completion has to change imo and voila....
