Increasing the base and the advanced is the most important thing . Even if mistral gets delayed to 2025 it's not a deal breaker. With it the 14 mwh mistral evdura battery which is meant to be delivered end 2024 is a royalty battery ..again delay of a few months is not the end of the world it's not as profitable as a direct sale.

There could quite possibly be a 100 mwh order lurking in the advanced. bring it on for installation next year that would be a game changer . Let's see it! They have a 200 mWh facility in Canada not doing much maybe that's the most likely possibility as the UK needs staking as things stand I don't think it's realistic to believe there is a 100 mwh battery ready to announce in the UK after diluting £18 million at 23 p to stake 90 mwh.

They do need to get more into the “base” pipeline but there have been instances in the past where orders have been placed straight from the “advanced̶1; pipeline without ever going into base.

If talk of these 100MWh+ orders has anything in it that may well happen again.

Funny that's exactly what I've been saying ...the bit about contractual arrangements isnt what he said that's just something you made up hope...and sounds like your normal to me ....anything with a contract is in the base case ..😂

Next you will be saying they have signed ndas ...

The pipeline is pretty simple hope ...if it's not in the base case don't count on it anytime soon...the only reason not to announce something is because the finance hasn't been approved and agreement reached to move to contract .

Let's see shall we hope they said mistral will be year end ..you think it's sooner ...in the entire history of ies I have never seen them deliver anything early so it's hard to see exactly what your timescale is based on ..

Listened to the vsa podcast ..63 attendees including 15 management . Went on about no fire risk....

The biggest thing I took away was John meyer on the s p. Saying how it had limped up to 25 p..
"If only they could announce a few orders "
"We can only report back what we here"

I think was his phrases...
Is he moaning to ?

Seems he is quoting me....
I'm seeing a few posts about the 6 gwh in the pipeline but that's just a twinkle in an eye..what's more meaningful and relevant is the base case ..stuff that's near contracting and actually happening . 18 months ago they had 1.19 MWh in the qualified leads that's resulted in 44 mwh in the base case today . Projecting that forward 6 mwh would be 220 mwh in 2026 ..they need to 300 MWh to break even so it's not enough .. .you can argue they will close a higher proportion of pipeline with mistral but that's yet to be seen ....

I'm just asking for them to deliver some orders...it's toast otherwise ..if your happy with 5.1 MWh in 11 months great ..contracting some of the existing ones might be an idea to...the company has been de-risking annually just after the annual cash raise it's as regular as the AGM...

Interesting comment in the VSA podcast that there has been a big seller recently but that another Insti has been taking up stock and that this selling may have run its course. Plus they said that UKIB were doing due diligence for about 9 months! Probably because the wheels moved slowly but nevertheless the DD must have been extensive.

Doesn’t take away from the fact that we need orders, big ones, and asap.

another little solid buying day today, buyers outnumbered sellers 10/1. just need invinity to drop a rns or two with big sales orders to keep momentum going. with 6gwh pipeline surely a great value play for some small cap funds to sink some money into.

Your right yump. To mere mortals £6 billion seems huge but it's for everything over the parliament term . They have admitted it's not enough money to achieve their goals but will be used to mobilise private equity. I've no idea what that looks like but would that be grant money to part fund and incentivise ??

Dale Vince, whoever he is, obviously has no clue about GB Energy. Labour haven’t yet.

I’ll eat my hat if any renewable energy becomes publicly owned - thats just a populist story and so far, Labour haven’t had the guts to deny it.

They’ve not explained yet exactly how they are going to unblock the grid connection problems. Afaik thats the no1 practical issue, never mind the idealistic take back control mantra.

Enabling is the objective I think.

'...It would appear the share price is about to break upwards on a stinker of a market day. This could be very positive indeed....' I think that's particularly relevant observation,, Indiestu. Clearly there is a huge, well documented rotation out of mega cap tech in particular and into smaller cap value in the US. We don't have the depth and variety in the market over here, but IES certainly ticks a lot of the boxes on the buy side, and so this has combined pretty powerfully with the other bull points in IES's favour - a delayed positive reaction to the original fundraise, which in my view was wildly bullish and so the share price should never have fallen below 20p, the good news SINCE that fundraise and of course, the change of government - to create what is fast becoming a rally with real legs.

I went back to iii with whom I traded back in 2018 and, to my amazement, still had all my records. Joe, at IES, said the consolidation was indeed 50 RedT for 1 IES so most of my quest has been achieved. Thanks to all involved.

Joe also said that the day in Scotland went very well, with lots of interest politically and industrially.
