10/10/2005 19:17 | Cream always rises | cambium
10/10/2005 16:38 | expect this to go £5.50 now up to Xmas as demand and sales increase. | powwow
03/10/2005 08:28 | seems like they want to shake a few more out on these before the next move upwards. | powwow
30/9/2005 21:23 | Tamaybroke, High growth, low pe + potential upside from the Satellite licence. Management delivering above expectations - that's a bit of a rarity. The PE is low in relation to the growth being achieved and even lower compared to similar companies in other countries. | allstar4eva
30/9/2005 21:15 | allstar, don't want to clog up the thread here, but what made you buy into ASG ? | tamaybroke
30/9/2005 21:09 | Tamaybroke, Re: ASG - Yes thanks I bought some. looks very cheap. | allstar4eva
30/9/2005 21:05 | ben,and what system would that be ?? PS:did anyone have a look at ASG ?? | tamaybroke
30/9/2005 14:16 | Hi ben, good to see you on another thread! Bought @ 345 a little while ago: normally buying on possible DCBs does me no favours at all, but as Mr. Hardy once said to Mr. Laurel: "So-o-o-o-o farrr, s-o-o-o-o good"....;-) BTW, nice of you and other posters to tell me it's something to do with retail. Was wondering what the hell I was doing buying shares in a hopeless former Tory leader! | samg99
30/9/2005 13:53 | Tamaybroke I sold out recently too as my system sees this as a sell below 363. It is quite a seasonal stock so I expect to be back in if markets regain momentum in 4th quarter. Retail misery may counteract this and we have to wait for a longer cycle. | ben gunn
22/9/2005 19:56 | ASG,Avanti Screenmedia. | tamaybroke
22/9/2005 17:19 | asg or asc? | spinkydink
22/9/2005 07:24 | I sold out recently, not because i have no further faith in this company but a 55% gain over a couple of weeks will do me and i think it will take further news to move this one northward. I bought into ASG very recently for nearly exactly the same reasons as buying into IDS + plus the short term gain oppurtunity look's very promising........it may be worth a look. Best of look to those still in here though. | tamaybroke
20/9/2005 16:25 | I expect this to start rising a lot faster now. next stop £5.50. Directors are happy , one just made 9 million pounds... well done for him. | powwow
20/9/2005 16:08 | The stock was snapped up so I've been told. | cat
20/9/2005 16:02 | Good points, Cat. Similar sales by them in March did no lasting damage. | diogenesj
20/9/2005 15:44 | One now an ex director, Valerie Kaye, and Paul Wright who recently handed over the CEO role to become deputy Chairman. They have both sold less than half of their holdings - probably in line with their stepping down from more senior positions. | cat
20/9/2005 15:37 | There it is: announcement of a placing of 4.5m shares on behalf of 2 directors at 360p per share. | diogenesj
20/9/2005 15:27 | Looks to me as though a couple of directors may have sold 4m shares between them. The other large trade may be the other side of the transaction. I would guess that the knowledge that this large placing was being touted around the institutions might be what has caused the price weakness recently. Now that the overhang is cleared, we seem to be off again. | diogenesj
20/9/2005 14:17 | does anyone want to comment on the 9 million shares that appear to be sells, but I doubt it but buys in todays trades. Very odd indeed. 9 million shares, thats a lot of money. If its a buy its either someone selling a large shareholding to a new investor, a mistake or someone about ot bid for ids.? Its odd as its 30% of the companies shares in issue? | powwow

09/9/2005 17:01 | Yep. Reckon you'm right Cat. Give them journos and analysts a day or so to twig the significance of the new BBC/ITV freeSat scheme which will rope in a population currently not involved. | m.t.glass
09/9/2005 16:41 | this will recover to new highs very soon. | cat
09/9/2005 16:39 | IC gave this a relatively positive write up | actybod
