Once they start ramping up the operation, the profits will be substantial , due to the massive cost savings they have made by firing and re-hiring their employees.
New agreements are very aggressive and will deliver big profits very quickly.

continued strength but it seems to be that a long time will pass before BA starts to make historic profits from its US routes
Business traffic (which is where the money is) will in my view take a long time to recover

Stocks rose on Monday after AstraZeneca and the University of Oxford said their coronavirus vaccine was up to 90% effective, becoming the third inoculation this month that was revealed to be effective in trial data.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed 327.79 points higher, or 1.1%, at 29.591.27. The S&P 500 gained 0.6% to end the day at 3,577.59, and the Nasdaq Composite advanced 0.2% to 11,880.63.

The Dow hit its session high in the final hour of trading amid news that President-elect Joe Biden plans to nominate former Federal Reserve Chair Janet Yellen for Treasury secretary. The Wall Street Journal first reported the pick. CNBC later confirmed the report through sources.

Shares of airlines led the gains on hope distributing these vaccines would reopen the economy and boost travel early next year. United Airlines rose 2.6%.

Well when the shares were 6++ I think there was 2Bill shares in issue. Not there's 5 Billion so do the math...Having said that, pre covid the shares at 6 quid were bonkers cheap. Could have easily been 10 a share. So i think 3 quid a share is doable over the next 2-3 years.

Following the rights issue what is the pre Covid level that this might reach? What's the price in 'Old money' basically... it was once 600p pre Covid. Norwegian have gone so that'll help with market share big time

Just a add on any pull back now and hold, hold & hold long term!

More upside once vaccines are approved by global regulators and the roll out begins

Hold large quantities of other recovery plays BP.,RR.,STAF, MTRO,SAGA, HYVE etc

It’s good time to stay long imo

You are forgetting that IAG will gain considerable market share with Norwegian effectively gone and Virgin struggling to stay alive. The market could price in expected growth and inevitable earnings early
