What happens next? Timeline.
1. Pfizer will file for FDA amergency use approval next week.
2. Approval seems a near formality.
The vaccine should be approved within a week or two max.
4. Early December Pfizer vaccine is rolled out to the highest risk populations - elderly, multiple comorbities.
UK also begins vaccination programme.
3. During this time the much touted Oxford-AstraZeneca + Moderna would have released their own vaccine phase 3 data.

It takes GP's just 4 weeks to deliver the annual flu vaccine to those aged >65 and other at risk groups. Very similar demographic will need the Covid vaccine.

China started mass vaccination programmes 2-3 months ago. Have been functioning as normal for a while now. First hand accounts and video footage. Shanghai and Wuhan included. The sidewalks and malls are packed, consumer confidence has returned - not everyone is even wearing a face mask there anymore.

AstraZeneca, Moderna phase 3 data due in the coming days.
All signs are very promising and means no issue with supply.

GSK, Johnson&Johnson, Sinopharm all in the late stages also.

MULTIPLE COVID VACCINES WILL BE AVAILABLE VERY SOON AND GOVERNMENTS WILL FAST TRACK THEIR APPROVAL. BE IN NO DOUBT ABOUT THIS.

Once COVID is dealt with... providing theres no WW3... things will by and large be back to some normality.

No virus has had the global impact Covid has had since 1918 and the Spanish flu.
So this is the greatest medical advancement in the past 100 years.

lol..tell that to the inventors of polio,smallpox, vaccines. lol, Do not get carried away. It will not push IAG back to £6,50 in this decade but it is good for sentiment. Both in airlines and for oil . BP having a stormer!
RYA almost back to previous highs and of course never fell as far as the big dinosaur national carriers.
Celebrate but remember 50 million vaccines (to xmas) does not go far .Need more news re production upgrades or even another vaccine. This one does seem to be the real deal for 90% of us.Also has none of the issues of the others.
