Both will be offered on a pro-rata basis via a rights issue, and both issuances will be treated as equity in the company’s balance sheet. SIA has also arranged a S$4 billion bridge loan facility with DBS Bank, supporting the company’s near-term liquidity requirements. The company would use the proceeds from the rights issues to fund capital and operational expenditure requirements. | ![]() loganair

29/3/2020 09:32 | How can you tell who is going on holiday and who is going for other reasons? And how can you tell if the passenger has a UK passport or a foreign passport, ie likely exiting the country rather than going away for a 2 week hols? I guess if it was a TUI flight or some other package tour operator plane then you pretty well know it's for hols. But chartered flights? | ![]() hamhamham1
29/3/2020 09:28 | ham....I agree but there were pax going to SIN and other destinations on Holiday !!!! Quite unbelievable but true. My Guess , airlines will be starting to resume some flights by end April. Just a guess though. | ![]() m1k3y1
29/3/2020 09:22 | M1. what crackpots are going on holiday now, against all gov and WHO advice??? I bet in 2 weeks time, it will be near nil holiday passengers. Can't see anything clearing up until end of June at best, as the virus is still popping up in new places all the time. And the southern hemisphere is just heading into winter. I'm being realistic rather than pessimistic. A week or 2 ago the gov said it's would be 10-14 weeks or more to the peak. So I cannot see everything suddenly opening up as we hit the peak. You would have to let the curve dip down a fair bit the other side before even thinking about it, else risk of back to square one. | ![]() hamhamham1
