Clearly Monty being a Tory hasn't read the rules regarding taking lawful industrial action not in touch with the general life of a British worker

Another reason BA pilots won't strike, Ryanair told some pilots to take unpaid leave, lol his great O'Leary, seems a glut of pilots.BA pilots may be greedy, but they are not stupid.https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.independent.co.uk/news/business/news/ryanair-latest-pilots-job-cuts-thomas-cook-news-oleary-a9121251.html%3famp

They won't strike why do you think they called of the last strike day in September. Thomas Cook pilots waiting to take their jobs.

Too scared to trade even some extra shares I hold outside my main holding as a BALPA settlement and valuable Divi not too far away could see a sudden jump in the share price A pre-Christmas strike would be suicide for the pilots, and damage their employer name, and thereby themselves, with a deal on the table which looks increasingly fair against current uncertainties in the aviation sector as a whole. The pilots are not stupid and will have taken this on board...they can see the investment happening with Air France, and BA have to remain competitive. By the way I liked the analogy of always filing up with petrol/electricity to the limit...the BBC program mentioned a few more important factors other than BA over-loading fuel. Time and price is also important to me.

I really don't know what they are trying to achieve now. Even BALPA want to agree a deal, if the DM is correct.
No doubt they are waiting to see if the Royal Mail win or lose their Injunction.
Pilots could be out on their own, if BALPA don't think any more can be achieved.

Pilots have bottled it, overplayed their hand, glut of pilots, how many from TC looking for a job, thats the reason Balpa called off September strike.

Come on Balpa release a press statement, hope the Daily Mail and The Sun correct, lol.

It's ok, dropped someone off at Terminal 3 last week, what a traffic nightmare. To own all the Terminal 5 for BA, is great, all business people love T5 for the ease of traffic and facilities.I flown first class this year from their, lounge is great, BA service etc, superb.

Monty - it is not the terminal hassle that is the problem, it is actually getting to the terminal via the M25 that is the hassle!

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/travel/travel_news/article-7672095/Heathrow-passenger-numbers-boosted-Rugby-World-Cup.htmlBA Terminal was voted best Terminal by passengers. It is good, not even drop off charges, unlike other U.K airports.

Argument between cows and planes, we need cows more than planes, less of this flying for a few quid, travellers should pay a far higher green tax for flying than paying through the nose for eating meat and dairy. Frankly I’d rather enjoy yoghurt, cheese, some beef, plenty of milk than travel cattle class to Majorca!

Before we all jump on this bandwagon. Answer this question. Do we fill up our cars for just a single journey, or do we all load up ' tanking' for a weeks worth of journeys. It's called being efficient with our time and money. It's called running a business. Perhaps, just perhaps if India and China can stop increasing their reliance on fossil fuels, then this planet has a chance. Morning all
