15/12/2008 11:06 | 237gm, I don't have a FY profit target - IGP's revenue recognition is quite conservative and they're still dependent on the timing of some large projects over which they have little control/visibility. However, that dependence is reducing year by year as more projects move to a rollout stage and recurring revenues increase. I'd like to see a cash balance of 2.5mm or thereabouts, simply to put to rest any lingering concerns about repaying the 2mm convertibles (should it be necessary). And of course, more contract wins .... Felix - this won't get taken out at 50p. There are enough significant shareholders (including management) to ensure that a fair value is achieved. | ![]() wjccghcc
15/12/2008 10:37 | i will not worry about this being taken out... it may or may not happen..so no point fretting about it. Everyday the take out price is going up! I think it will not happen until the patent issue is resolved first. But once that happens , ireckon it will move alot higher. if they continue on this path..no take out less than £1 IMO. ID card news will be in 2009 too. | ![]() jailbird
15/12/2008 10:32 | thats the problem - just as things get juicy it will get taken out at 50p or so I bet and us poor shareholders won;t see any of the real upside | ![]() felix99
15/12/2008 10:11 | we have got to be working on at least 14 projects now, so we got to see a big jump in revenues over the next 12-18 months, and i get the feeling this is just the tip of the ice-berg. When companies see we do the security for the white-house and for nato members on our CV they know they are working the best out there. with lots more worldwide id cards/retail/smart/h But i get the feeling we will be taken over by then, for a nice tidy profit. | ![]() igoe104
15/12/2008 09:57 | Nice to see....they know their onto a good thing....even if its just 14,000 shares....will keep the company in the papers and is all positive news. | ![]() 237gmoney

15/12/2008 09:18 | Exactly Boad. every week theres something positive at the moment here and yet the share price is still well below the highs of 2006 when it was a loss making company without the progress it has made over the last two years. All these contracts (and the Australia one which has yet to be formally announced imo with IGP) are falling onto the bottom line at 99% margins. WJ, what is your profit target for yr end with what we know now? £200,000 gross profit at 6 months with cash increasing £450,000 in 3 months straight after....I will be looking at north of £500,000 for yr end gross profit and possibly closer to £750,000 if they keep this pace of contracts up in early next year. Great stuff, keep it coming. Still heavily undervalued here. | ![]() 237gmoney
15/12/2008 09:13 | To give you an indication of the timeline in their business, they won the lockheed contract over 2 years ago. However, the design of the scheme and an extended pilot means that rollout (and significant revenues) are only just starting now. 2 years ago they were only working on 2 big projects at a time. With recent contract announcements, they're now up to 15 long-term projects with a typical lifecycle of 5-10 years so you can get a good idea of where revenues are heading. With approx 75% of the pipeline government-related, management are very upbeat on the momentum in the business despite the crunch. The patent issue is a pain but not (so far) impacting their ability to win new contracts. Indemnifying clients against patent suits like this is standard in the software industry. On the downside, it could take 2 years and a significant expense to reach the US courts. On the upside, only 3% of similar cases actually get that far. Given Actividentity's rapidly diminishing cashpile (down $25mm last quarter on the back of some lousy investments), hopefully it will get settled in the next 12 months. IGP is shaping up to be the global leader in this space. | ![]() wjccghcc
15/12/2008 08:59 | Looks like the loan note holders are on to a good thing. At least there should now be no large outflow of funds due to non-conversion next year although there may be some profit-taking in the shares if the converters choose to take a short term view. Also from that date on, with no further interest payable on the loan notes, I reckon that pbt will automatically increase by £120k pa. "The loan periods were both extended through to 31 May 2009 and interest chargeable was increased to 6% per annum with effect from 1 April 2006. The convertible loan note holders are now able to convert the loans and associated interest outstanding at prices of 20p and 15p per ordinary share for the original £982,000 and £450,000 loans respectively. The loans and associated interest totalling £2,005,000 will be repayable as at 31 May 2009 if they choose not to convert." | ![]() boadicea
15/12/2008 08:48 | At long last we are starting to see the share price respond to reasonable demand in the market. Could it be that after the results the directors knowing the Lockheed contract was in the pipe-line were restricted from buying shares until this announcement was released? If they believe the company is undervalued, as I am sure the C.E. does having previously bought at 29p, then we could well see further director buying now. Institutions may well be deterred from buying stock because of the illiquidity of the market but that will not prevent directors and small shareholders putting their toes back into the market to take this share price back to a sensible level. But what is a sensible level now we are starting to see these new contract wins? If it was at 50p 18 months ago when the company was still making a loss I would suggest that with the cash balance and profit under its belt we should at least be at 50p or higher now. I have a buy order in at 30p and have asked at what price the market will sell 25k. The price offered was 38p!!!!!! | aphrodites

15/12/2008 07:50 | Wish i had topped up with more than 5k last week ! Excellent contract win coming on top of the others. If Lockheed arent concerned about the patent situation then that sends a strong message to other companies who were having second thoughts. | ![]() fft
14/12/2008 15:29 | Looks like some more excellent news on Monday. The share price should be much higher as things are really starting to motor here. It's taken a few years, but that rapid growth stage appears to be here. | ![]() topvest
