14/11/2008 11:18 | I thought I was the only one left in here.....seems its just the two of us. Everything has gone quiet which can be a good thing or a bad thing. I dont think much will change here before interim results at the end of the year unless IGP do something silly and release an RNS or something like that.... That would be more of a shock than anything.... Current twic stats 14/11/08 Total # Pre-Enrolled: 656,357 Total # Enrolled: 639,864 Total # Cards Issued: 407,552 TWIC stats as at 29/10/08... 13/11/2008 20:14 | A second day with no trades. Has the selling dried up? With much of its cost-base in sterling and the pound down ~29% from its peak a year ago (making dollar income worth ~40% more) and a security based market that is not consumer orientated, the prospect of sustainable profitability looks assured. | ![]() boadicea
07/11/2008 11:01 | I notice there is a piece in the independant newspaper today about UKID cards so I guess this is why the share price is up today....some good news I hope with 20,000 ID cards in a trail....maybe IGP involved??? If so we should be up 10x this amount | ![]() 237gmoney

24/10/2008 10:25 | dollar now $1.55 - £1...all the time getting stronger for IGP....It might not make a major difference but every little bit helps. At the beginning of the TWIC project a card cost just under £63....now it costs around £85.50.......If IGP were getting 100% of the TWIC revenues that would have been an extra £11mm for 500,000 cards.... | ![]() 237gmoney

23/10/2008 16:01 | Sounds highly encouraging. Perhaps we can now see what put the wind up AI. Looks like they're being outsmarted, so they just tried firing from the hip. Talking of outSMARTed, the accent on 'interoperability' above reminds me of Advance Smartcard (SMRT) and its ITSO card. They got taken out so we never realised the potential rewardsof their technology. Does anyone know how they are progressing under their new owners? I hope we remain independent to see a decent return for our patience. | ![]() boadicea
23/10/2008 09:48 | I see the website has been totally changed Also.... Intercede Sponsors, Exhibits and Speaks at the Smart Cards in Government Conference, Ronald Reagan Center, Washington DC, October 22-24, 2008 Washington DC, (PRWEB) October 21, 2008 -- Intercede (London Stock Exchange AIM: IGP), a major supplier of HSPD-12/PIV/FIPS-201 compliant identity and credential management systems to the US Federal Government, announces its sponsorship of the Smart Card Alliance's Smart Cards in Government Conference. Since October 2006, Intercede's MyID® Identity and Credential Management System has been selected by over 10 Federal Agencies for the deployment of smart cards to more than 300,000 employees and contractors. A further 500,000 MyID managed smart cards have been deployed under US Government mandates to non Federal employees. Within 18 months, Intercede anticipates that its MyID system will be managing more than 2 million civilian identities and credentials for US Homeland Security purposes. This makes Intercede one of the largest suppliers of civilian identity and credential management systems in the US Government marketplace. A regular Smart Card Alliance conference attendee, Intercede will be exhibiting its MyID Identity and Credential Management System on booth #22 in the main exhibition hall. This year Intercede will be building on the success of its earlier MyID 8 product launch in Reston, VA, by demonstrating the competitive advantages offered by Intercede's MyID Toolkit for both systems integrators and end-user organizations. Using the MyID Toolkit, systems integrators can add value faster to large deployments while customers can benefit from reduced project deployment risks and shorter deployment cycles. In the morning conference session on Thursday October 23, Dr Chris Edwards (Intercede CTO), will be presenting a paper on the 'Technical Challenges for Interoperability of Identity Credentials at the Card Management Level'. In this paper Chris addresses how card management interoperability is rapidly becoming critical to the success of all major identity and credential projects. He will further discuss the factors customers need to consider in order to achieve both maximum future flexibility and minimum total cost of ownership. As a sign of Intercede's commitment to the Smart Card Alliance and to the US Government market, all conference attendees will receive an Intercede sponsored Transit Card for travel on the Washington Metro bearing an imprint of Intercede's corporate logo. Customers, partners and systems integrators are invited to visit the Intercede booth to discuss their requirements with our experienced sales and technical team. In addition, Intercede partners' Cogent and Hirsch are also participating in the exhibition, and their specialist teams are waiting to discuss the value of their own solutions built around Intercede's MyID platform. | ![]() 237gmoney
22/10/2008 18:12 | nope. There are conditions attached to that trade, which is probably a T20 or T25. Not possible to do that when trading CFD's. Its all T0 (zero) !! | ![]() fft

22/10/2008 13:56 | Oddly, there is now no trade type showing against it on advfn while a competitor has is as plain 'O'. 'OK' seems likely - where did it appear? -I'll have to add it to my list of haunts! | ![]() boadicea
22/10/2008 13:01 | The trade was "OK". I had the feeling that OK indicated an auction trade, but it is an ordinary trade reported using the block trade facility. "K" - The transaction was reported using the block trade facility, which is at least 75 times the NMS for a security with an NMS of 2,000 shares OR above 50 times the NMS for a security with an NMS of 1,000 shares. IGP has an NMS of 500. | ![]() fft
22/10/2008 12:38 | fft - What auction? IGP is a pure mm stock, sector AIMT, segment AIMI. Now that all orders are classed as 'O' (when did you last see an X, B, M or N trade, etc?) it is difficult to tell what type of deal the 35k was. However, at around 20p its only 7k, quite possible for an ordinary run-of-the-mill pi. The large rise on 'non-news' probably just indicates correction of a far out-of-line valuation based on an earlier distress sell. | ![]() boadicea
22/10/2008 10:23 | i thought the 35k buy in the auction was enough reason for the rise in price. Not sure how you take part in the auction though (every 2 hours i think). If the MM's are running a very tight book, i.e. keeping balance as close to zero as possible, and i think they are, then whether we stay up or go down depends on whether people buy or sell.... | ![]() fft
22/10/2008 10:19 | Even given the fx rate - I'm amazed at a 20% rise on "non-news" and almost no volume. Still, it's good that the company clearly wish to support the share price (posts 761 -763) but I have to wonder whether we'll end the day much above the opening price (unless there is a large buy order in the background). | ![]() carlos panda
22/10/2008 10:14 | The dollar at $1.62 - £1 is great for IGP..... | ![]() 237gmoney
22/10/2008 10:01 | It could be saying that companies such as Lockheed arent worried about the IP situation, so others shouldnt be either. i.e. no one has dropped MyID. A bit of moral boosting perhaps. | ![]() fft
22/10/2008 09:25 | 237 - Agree, I too was a little puzzled as to what was new in the announcement. The timing may perhaps be connected with reminding the market that it has a strong dollar income stream at a time when sterling is falling fast against the dollar. Companies with overseas earnings that are well entrenched (i.e. not very susceptible to national protectionist policies) in recession-proof or anticyclical sectors are probably the place to look for current value imho (dyor). | ![]() boadicea
22/10/2008 09:06 | Topvest, This isn't news to us....I thank Mr.Parris for trying to be positive and keeping things positive in the press regarding IGP but as I keep posting the TWIC stats now and again, we have known IGP were on the TWIC program all along so I'm not sure why they released this statement....what does it tell us? Why doesnt Mr. Parris let us know about projects we havent heard about yet such as the UKID card if their involved, the RSA 3 yr contract which expired in September I believe..... Anyway keep the positive news coming Mr Parris. | ![]() 237gmoney |
