This is another reason why you should keep investing in intercede.
The sector is going to go through the roof, and we will make lots of bucks.

Agreed - L&G however just sold down HTG rom £4-00 to £3-50 over teh last 2 weeks.IGP may apeal to a different fund manager- I hope so! as however sold down HTG was iether barking mad or very desperate for cash. With teh conversion in May I presume the management will no longer have effective controlling interest - which bothers me as it may well be teh moment for a bid which I would not welcome. As you say - we need some very friendly long term sharholders- is there such a thing anymore?

Exactly Aphrodites, and it wont be that difficult to promote the company now its making a profit. In the current economic climate cash is king as banks arent giving out any credit at all....the only possible way to raise cash is through earnings or private investment an ActivIdentity are burning cash at a fast pace with it being a loss making company. To increase cash in the last three months by £450,000 and with £2.3m in the bank it wont be long before the EPS of this baby gets noticed.

I agree but we do not want an investor like Hargreave Hale who was allowed to climb on board and buy 6% of the company at 33p when the share price 3 weeks earlier had been trading above 70p. This so called investor sounded the death knell for IGP's share price and the fact that it also sold stock thereafter did not help either.

The compnay broker needs to get 2/3 institutions of the likes of L & G to take a stake and then for them to start buying more shares. The share price would be back up to 70p almost immediately.

IGP's story is a good one. Now the company broker should start to earn its pay by promoting the company.

I notice someone buys 5,000 and the spread comes down to 1p either way which is nice.....the company needs to work on the PR side of things now as well - all these new contracts are good but we need a new big investor to come in that will take away the overhang of the shares sold at 30-33p and this will make it harder for any potential takeover approach.

The placing shares which were bought a while ago, my guess is they are all but sold now into the market and if the loan note holders convert in May 2009 my guess is they will start to sell some of those at higher prices so we need someone to come in between now and then to take a slice of the company and allow the loan note holders to make an exit without putting pressure on the share price.

With a profitable company and the share price where it is, it shouldnt be a big deal to promote the company to a new investor....

This looks similar to the gemalto health card, which we are working with.
but not sure if they will be a igp involvement.

Gemalto, the world leader in digital security, today announced it is providing Banco Santander with innovative technology for its university identity card program. It is Brazil's first multi-functional smart card combining EMV (Europay, Mastercard and Visa) payment and contactless access control on a single ID card, to be used within the university buildings – for students, teachers and staff. Gemalto delivers the cards to the universities and personalizes each card with the cardholder's unique data at its personalization center in Barueri, São Paulo.

Nice to see this one going back in the right direction. Company starting to harvest the fruits of all the groundwork done in years past. This is one of the shares I'm completely happy with holding.

Agree with you, riv, about the case pending. Would be good to se ethat kicked into touch.

Yep, terrific results - particularly the cash aspect.

Such a shame about the legal case overhang - any scintilla of doubt in this market gives rise to a reluctance to buy for some. Nevertheless, there should be more than enough here to interest some newbies.

Fantastic results considering the economic climate we are currently in. The best bit is like WJ says cash in bank currently at £2.3m. this is an increase of £450,000 from September 31st which can mostly be answered by the fact only $46,000 was counted from the $500,000 lockheed martin paid in the H1 results.

The loan note holders will probably convert depending on their own economic situation as I can only see this share price going up and up. If the company can get the next year results out before the loan notes are due and have a plan in action to sort that out, either by paying them off or by giving out more shares, then we will know the full picture by May 2009 and there should be nothing holding this company back.....

Keep the good news coming IGP....at 99% margins everything goes to the bottom line so the sky's the limit.

Excellent results and it certainly looks like the beginning of the step change in performance (it's been a while coming!). With current cash balances of 2.3mm, the convertible redemption shouldn't be a problem and as you say, more are now likely to convert anyway.

Now all we need is for the patent issue to be resolved and we're off to the races...

Morning APHRO.

Fingers crossed for a return to 30p plus for you. Just wish SCO would get some RNS's out.

good morning porky.

Not just good. I would say very, very good.

And more importantly with the share price having been take down with the rest of the market the one big comment is: "we are not seeing our business activity adversely affected by economic conditions."

This is the sort of investment institutions are looking for but what a pity there is such poor liquidity.

In normal market conditions the price would be around 70p.

Precisely. Also, looks like by May 2009 they should have sufficient flexibility to fully redeem the debt which would remove the one funding issue that has been pulling these back for the last few years.

I wonder if morocco is one of the middle-east contracts, and i,d guess at saudi being the other.

French aerospace giant Thales provided the system, which included the security software, document production equipment, and the "connectivity with the Automated Fingerprint Identification System which acquires digital fingerprints

It starting to look like intercede software is going more and more global, and with terrorism not going to stop worldwide, there are lots of opportunities for stacks more contracts.

2-5 years, when markets are much improved, i see these over £2 a share.

You know my thoughts are the same as yours on this one.

I have been convinced the price is being deliberately manipulated in advance of a bid. But the opportunity seems to have been missed if this was the case.

I tried to buy a few more in the low 20p's but the MM's just would not play ball in any size.

The recent rise after the SRN has been out of all proportion with the buying volume which spoils trading in a share like this.

After the results if the price does not rocket let's hope the directors all come out as buyers and lift the price into the mid 30p's.

The share price should nopt be down here.

Excellent news. Intercede and Lo-q are my two technology stocks that are doing well at the moment. However, despite all the good news it's difficult to lift the price. In normal times they would have 5 or 10 bagged on their news flow.

Here here. great news today. My main concern is this will be taken out before we get to set the gold at the end of the rainbow....and also paying back the loan note holders in May 2009.

With todays contracts and the dollar exchange rate £1=$1.50 we can start to see the light at the end of this tunnel.

Results in the next week or so should lift the interest in this more and we should be heading back to the 30's before the yr is out.

Good to see your still here WJ. thought you had jumped ship....
