It's inconceivable that there has been only one seller, nor do we know how much more selling we may or may not see. The volume is tiny, about £3000 a day on average so it's not like Warren Buffett is shuffling his portfolio at our expense. The only way this will fix is if a institution tries to build a stake and there must be one firm out there somewhere that sees value. When fund managers come back from the summer holidays we will see a move I am confident but until then it's pain I am afraid.

we all there is a persistent seller..looks like a large holder not a PI.
Another 15k today...looks like they take any news or buyers to offload it.

God knows how much more they have to sell, but until they are done, this share price is going nowhere.

There must be a way of finding out who the seller is...best to do 'x' trade instead of going thru the MMs and dragging the price down.
But i guess there is no buyer wanting them so the seller may have no option.

Quite a bullish statement -
"This appointment reflects the strong growth ambitions of Intercede and the broadening global sales pipeline that we now need to manage effectively. Our continuing investment in industry leading personnel underscores the confidence we have in our NEAR TERM [my caps] growth prospects."

The only question now, bearing in mind the increased staff count (=payroll cash outflow) is whether the growth prospects will mature soon enough to obviate the need for further fund-raising. If not, some cash-rich outfit is likely to find themselves a bargain, probably to our loss.

Xmas seems a long way away for investors like me who are well down but to be fair the Directors have released 3 positive statements in a month so they couldn't be doing more to communicate positive things to the market. Floor in price is here I think and hope. I just can't see it falling further.

Also stating that they will be taking on new technical staff as well. shows that the new contracts are causing IGP to expand their headcount - a growing company in more ways than one - just a shame the share price doesnt show the same.....we need to show a healthy profit at xmas time to show this business is going places, then the share price will follow upwards.

Global Sales Director appointed. Good. Nice wording in the RNS as well to include the contract wins.

Not sure if me pitching IGP and the credit crunch turmoil are opposite sides of the karma coin. But I do get your simplistic message.

Patience needed. Buyers will return. The major risk now is that the convertible debt is underwater and so they may need to use most of their cash to redeeem these in 2009.

Total absence of sustained buying interest. I have lost more on this on paper than any other single investment.

Also, the sooner KBC Peel Hunt issue a broker note the better. But I don't suppose that'll be forthcoming until after December's results.

Howdy, the way you ramped IGP on every thread was a crime that was just asking for trouble. And we got it!

A better way of generating some interest in IGP would be to send a pitch off to a good quality TipSheet.

TechinInvest is the best one I know. If we could get TechInvest following IGP that would be great.

Anyone fancy putting together a pitch?

I would do it myself but haven't the time until next month. We need to get out of this rut ASAP!

WJCCGHCC,

It's very easy to prove Howdy and Value_Vadar are the same person.

All it needs is for you to edit your first posting on this thread to insert StatCounter:

Then you just use StatCounter to check the IP addresses at the times of Howdy & VV's postings. (They're probably the same IP address.)

Value_Vadar,

Have you ever posted on ADVFN prior to this post?

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Value_Vadar - 5 Aug'08 - 15:34 - 8622 of 9071

CDN and GCM charts similar. Both due to Polo buying. Correction now more or less done.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I believe that was your first ever posting, wasn't it?

The reason I ask is that you appeared for the first time on Howdy's usual den, GCM thread posting untold messages to establish a new profile, straight after Howdy did his IGP ramping palava of 3 August.

So I very much suspect Howdy hoped to do a disappearing act by replacing with the Value_Vadar alias.
