Thales takeover of Ncipher (at 100% premium) shows their growing interest in this area. Given the increasing partnership between Thales and IGP, I suspect a Thales bid would be forthcoming if management were agreeable.

We wish Pyman......the problem is with every day that passes in a declining market more and more AIM stocks are droping in MKT Value and the bigger players will soon come to feast on the crumbs......

IGP looking more like a takeover target at theses levels and we wont get half as much as we should for our stake......

ncipher bid today or at least talks. Not exactly a competitor but security software etc... should add to general interest in the area

I love it when investors are being terrorified by the press and the media
about the looming disaster of resession. "Sell before its too late." they imply.
Sending most weak investors rushing to their stockbrokers with one word in their mind "SELL".
A few years later these gullible and weak investers, are regretting selling their shares at a huge loss.
A tip. Follow the professionals who view a falling or low market as a buying opportunity to purchase what are fundamentally sound investments at bargain prices.

Funny enough I did try an chart IGP earlier and there is a general upward trend on the 5 yr graph although steady - the chartist theory goes out the window though with this share as any news and it will blow right though any trend lines....so its not worth charting in the short term.....

i wouldn't really apply at charts for IGP as it is a low volume illiquid stock.

However i see the share price is at the bottom of it major MAs , plus near it's placing price...

Dollar not fundamental to IGP price movement. It's all about project newsflow and confirmation IGP are cash-flow positive and entering profitability. When we get that we will break north in the meantime we are treading water.... presuming there is no acquisition rumours again.

Agreed but one day in the life of the dollar is no big deal....it will probably go back to where it was tomorrow....the pound and euro needs to devalue towards the dollar - with the ECB saying they wont change rates for a while and the US likely to start raising them we could see the dollar slowly strenghten but we are talking about years rather than months....the RSA contract renewal is in September time and the dollar will be more or less what it is now....Another short term - possibly 2yr deal may suit rather than a 3 yr deal as RSA could lock in IGP when the global economy starts to recover and RSA would benefit - not IGP.

Stronger dollar and re-negoiation of their agreements of fees, means
higher revenues for IGP.

Nice to see a rise today......but why??? this share will keep yo-yo-ing all the time until news is released so there must be something to say about the ongoing projects? Why not put us out of our misery....

Just looked at the last report and as WJ said it was confirmed there and the agenda is standard so I don't think any interesting news will be released and I am not even sure if there would be a Q&A.
