13/11/2007 08:45 | Wow. Someone seems determined to get some. | wjccghcc
13/11/2007 07:46 | WJ/Igoe et al. Would one of you be willing to post up a summary of exactly where IGP are within the TWIC programme - what the delivery channels are and what contracts we know IGP are in etc? I watched loosely for a long time and since re-investing (& adding a few times) at these levels my intersest has increased, but I don't have the detail sufficiently pinned down to translate WJ's last post into revenue implications for IGP. Many thanks, G. | garth
13/11/2007 00:05 | Thanks for the update WJ, i was going to top up this morning but decided against it! Will definately add tomorrow. | 4graham
12/11/2007 23:46 | From an article on TWIC reader development: "TSA began issuing TWIC cards Oct. 16 in Delaware and expanded to five other locations last week, including Baton Rouge, La., and Oakland, Calif., and will add at least 10 more ports by the end of this month. TSA enrolled more than 1,200 workers in the program in its first three weeks." | wjccghcc
12/11/2007 22:01 | Looks close to breaking the downward trend...about time! | topvest
12/11/2007 20:29 | SHOULD be a tick up tomorrow if that trade is right. 16:01 20,000 @ 37.00p 14:37 2,000 @ 35.00p | igoe104
12/11/2007 16:57 | I've waited this bleeding long I'm not going to sell now when its going up...the limits for buys is all we need to know....... | 237gmoney
12/11/2007 16:10 | looks like buy order is in or something. a dummy sell of 25k..got offered 34.5p!( yes mid price for a sell) | jailbird
12/11/2007 15:37 | Seems we are moving up again. joy at last.....still not back on that new upward trend line but not far off it....guess there were more watching this from the sidelines than we thought. As soon as interest picks up we will be back to where we belong, just its so frustrating waiting for it to come around. would be nice for thales to get in on the ID card though, gosh that would be an early xmas present if we got wind of the news before, but anything will do, anything at all..... | 237gmoney
12/11/2007 14:45 | Looks like someone beat you to buy that 50k then (not me)! ;0) | taurusthebear
12/11/2007 14:43 | well i sell online no problems..it is the buying the MMs have restricted. i'm sure a call or fill or kill online, the MMs will let you get a few | jailbird
12/11/2007 14:40 | I can't even get a quote for 1k online. If you want a lot try a limit order via your broker, this stock is so illiquid that sometimes they just don't deal directly online during patchy market conditions. pyman - look at the markets, it's not just banking stocks getting walloped! I think many people aren't excited by a 20% increase in revenue from a company with a low base in the first place. When they will get interested is when that figure rises to 50-100%, or more, which could be in the next 12 months. Of course, by then it may have already started to reflect in the SP, as the latest banking debacle should be past us. :0) | taurusthebear
12/11/2007 14:32 | YES jailbird just done another dummy. it offered a max limited of 50,000 15 minutes ago, now its max of 2500. LOL FANCY this to keep ticking up. | igoe104
12/11/2007 14:23 | hmmm, tick up too..i still cannot buy any online.(TDW) shows online limits mean nothing really. | jailbird
12/11/2007 14:17 | ON-LINE limits have been lifted. you can buy 50,000 for 35p now. | igoe104
12/11/2007 10:56 | Thanks pyman for the Sunday Times lead: "............ Meanwhile, two defence contractors, BAE Systems and Thales, are understood to have made the Home Office's long list for a "roster" of companies that will provide the ID-card system .......... " | accumulat0r
12/11/2007 09:05 | real id kicking off in new york mid-2008. but it will be 2013 before its nationwide. LOOKS like washinton, and a couple of other states will be starting in soon as well. The plan is expected to be in place by mid-2008, making New York the first state to implement the new federal license. Besides New York, Arizona, Vermont, and Washington state have reached agreement on federally approved driver's licenses. | igoe104
12/11/2007 08:57 | Thanks Pyman, if Thales get in on it away we go! Taurus, what do IGP have to do with subprime losses??? Sorry I thought IGP did smartcard/ID card management or have I missed something? So are you saying the Ice cream man on the street will sell less ice creams as well because Banks are making less money??? IGP have fallen because of fundamentals and delays in their own projects, not because how much the next man on the street makes or loses. | 237gmoney
11/11/2007 21:10 | sunday times=- thales and bae shortlisted as preffered govt providers for ID cards amb Trusted borders consortium tipped as winning It contract for gov border entry control. | pyman
10/11/2007 20:58 | Not wishful thinking but realistic thinking. If you hadn't noticed, banks and financial institutions are reporting massive 3Q losses daily from Stateside. Maybe you think IGP's share price will be immune from that downdraught. I don't. I'd be happy to see the share price slowly rise for ever, but unfortunately life isn't like that, and I've learned when making investments that it's not what I want to happen that will happen. Be prepared for what might realistically happen. If you don't, then you become one of the whingers who say, on ADVFN BBs, "What a bargain price, wish I had some money to top-up". LOL! :0) | taurusthebear
10/11/2007 18:54 | YES Negative wishful thinking from taurus, as usual. yes looking at them RNS on the company web-site, you feel that there is some news in the pipeline. | igoe104
10/11/2007 18:16 | Taurus, some how I dont think you will get any of these below 30p. With results about a month away, and maybe the oracle news is getting around, we could see a contract or two thrown in which will see this share price finally pick up. So it rises on a 30k order????Hmm...we need some one to pick up 100k and then lets see what it does to the share price... | 237gmoney
10/11/2007 17:51 | I agree with topvest. its getting too near results, to see any sellers now, there is more likely to see alot of buyers, coming in. | igoe104
10/11/2007 09:51 | I think Wall Street woes may well carry this further down. I will be topping up below 30p if it does! :0) | taurusthebear
10/11/2007 09:18 | Looks like we may be bottoming out on the share price fall. Should be confirmedor not over the next few weeks. We all know this is worth much more. Patience just needed. | topvest |
