With only a 500 NMS there is a 2 hr delayed trade notification, hence why the share jumps on small trade. Either way its nice to see this share on an upward trend line again, has been a long time coming.

Hopefully my target is back to last years high by the end of the year, similar to last year but thats a long ay off yet.

Also just from a chartist point of view, IGP have now broken out of the downward trend and have now moved onto an upward trend line. With the big spikes in share price its looking good from here...

Ok so it was Thales, still proves IGP product and business model is good enough to maintain a 3 year partnership and now extended to continue for the foresable future. The fact that this is a UK contract with the $ exchange rate is also good news and hopefully more contracts to come from Thales in the 2nd Half of the year.

With HSPD12 ramping up in h2 we could see a very good trading statement come decemeber time.......but still this RNS does not answer the mystery of the missing news item from the summer breeze event regarding FRAC?????

Possibly another RNS to follow soon???? I hear FRAC is getting ready for take off, possibly 5,000 cards a day....here's one smaller lot

Am only posting this here, because, whnever this company reports good news, igp shares go up as well??
ID Data today confirmed that it has successfully developed and delivered the
UK's MasterCard(R) Prepaid cards with PayPass(TM), the next generation of
contactless payment cards from MasterCard.

This project has shown that ID Data has the ability to compete in the new and
challenging environment of RFID secure payments and has a process that can
deliver flexible and innovative solutions in short timeframes.

MasterCard invited ID Data to participate in this project with a demanding time
scales for the launch of the first promotional PayPass cards in the UK.

Most of their clients don't like any publicity - who's organising your security is not something you want everyone to know. I remember Actividentity did something similar with an HSPD-12 deal for the Department of Veteran Affairs and had to withdraw it and issue an apology.

I think jailbird's right - it's not as if there was any revenue attached at this stage. The more important thing is the 500k license fee contract which is 40% of last year's H1 revenues (depending on how they account for it) plus the fact that the amount they can charge for upfront license fees seems to be rising which indicates the demand for MyID.

jailbird, It is very strange. The only reference Intercede now have to the Summer Breeze demonstration is a few words in their Past Events section:

But nothing there either.

The new system included both smart card technology with FIPS 201 standards and an accountability compliant barcode. Denver, CO August 24, 2007--RockWest Technology Group, a leading sales and service integrator of photo identification, electronic security systems and incident management solutions, along with Intercede Corporation and Salamander Technologies have created the first known Incident Accountability Solution creating a completely FIPS compliant PIV credential for first responders.

Summer Breeze, organized by The Federal Homeland Security Department's National Capital Region Coordination (NCRC) Office along with the State of Colorado and the Pentagon Force Protection Agency (PFPA), was one of a series of demonstrations to test the integration and interoperability of first responder credentials. These demonstrations have included checks for qualifications, authorizations, certifications and privileges that meet federal standards for FIPS201 and FRACS initiatives.

The "first of its kind" system included both smart card technology with FIPS201 standards and an accountability compliant barcode. The PIV cards issued at the exercise utilized both technologies to ensure compatibility and interoperability of the PIV card with incident management software.

Creating the PIV card featured the use of the Datacard CP80 Printer, BioMetric Fingerprint scanner, MyID PIV Card and Identity Credential Management Software and Salamander fireTRAX Software. After creating the card, Salamander's RapidTag program instantly recognized and created accountability credentials for the responder to be assigned and tracked at the incident.

Matt McDaniel, Principal for RockWest says, "The uniqueness of this card comes from all the data in the tag including Barcodes and smart chips all working together to deliver known good data to the scene. Once a responder is granted access to the scene, the barcode qualification information allows incident commanders to make assignments and track responders within current NIMS accountability processes."

jailbird, I doubt it's Thales - they already OEM MyID and incorporate it into their Safesign Management Server. Can't see why they'd be paying a 500k upfront license fee.
