06/9/2007 09:22 | With only a 500 NMS there is a 2 hr delayed trade notification, hence why the share jumps on small trade. Either way its nice to see this share on an upward trend line again, has been a long time coming. Hopefully my target is back to last years high by the end of the year, similar to last year but thats a long ay off yet. Thanks for the link igoe. | ![]() 237gmoney

06/9/2007 08:47 | Ok so it was Thales, still proves IGP product and business model is good enough to maintain a 3 year partnership and now extended to continue for the foresable future. The fact that this is a UK contract with the $ exchange rate is also good news and hopefully more contracts to come from Thales in the 2nd Half of the year. With HSPD12 ramping up in h2 we could see a very good trading statement come decemeber time.......but still this RNS does not answer the mystery of the missing news item from the summer breeze event regarding FRAC????? Possibly another RNS to follow soon???? I hear FRAC is getting ready for take off, possibly 5,000 cards a day....here's one smaller lot | ![]() 237gmoney
06/9/2007 08:19 | COULD BE MORE DEALS ON THE WAY WITH THALES. We expect this to be the first of many significant licence orders from Thales as SafeSign is delivered to an increasing number of banks and governmental organisations around the world through Thales' network of international business partners, spanning the globe from Australia in the east to Hawaii in the west and all points between." THESE HAVE TO BE A VERY STRONG BUY. at this level, in the market they are in. | ![]() igoe104

06/9/2007 07:45 | INTERCEDE GROUP PLC ('Intercede' or 'the Company') Intercede Confirms Licence Agreement With Thales Following last week's announcement of a new licence agreement, Intercede, one of the world's leading developers and suppliers of smart card and identity management software, is pleased to confirm that the agreement is with Thales, the international electronics and mission critical systems group. The agreement reinforces the relationship between Intercede and Thales and supports the growth in demand for identity management solutions currently being witnessed by Thales in the financial services industry and the public sector. This agreement is separate from Intercede's existing product customisation contract with Thales, signed previously. Thales first integrated MyID with its SafeSign suite of products over three years ago and has since been offering a unique identity management solution to the market. In response to growing demand within the financial services and public sector markets for sophisticated identity management, Thales is further investing in the solution and has carried out extensive product development to differentiate the SafeSign Management Server from other offerings on the market. Together SafeSign Management Server and SafeSign Authentication Server provide customers with an end-to-end identity management, user and message authentication solution that unites the issuing and management of a large variety of authentication and identification technologies, including PKI cards, USB tokens, handheld tokens, mobile phones, contact and contactless cards and biometric technologies. Paul Meadowcroft, head of transaction security for the e-Security activities of Thales, comments: 'In response to customer and market requirements, we have invested heavily in the development of the SafeSign suite of products to ensure that customers are receiving a unique, sophisticated and functionality-rich end-to-end identity management and authentication solution. As a result, our customers in the financial services and public sector markets worldwide can rely on Thales to provide them with an advanced solution which will meet the rigorous demands of their current and future identity management and authentication requirements.' Richard Parris, Chief Executive of Intercede, comments: 'I am pleased that our relationship with Thales has reached this new level of partnership as the identity and smart card market starts to quickly grow. It is a vindication of our focused MyID product development strategy and long-term approach to working with partners. After a 3-year partnership to date, this order demonstrates Thales' commitment to Intercede, our technology leadership and the longevity of Intercede's business model. 'We expect this to be the first of many significant licence orders from Thales as SafeSign is delivered to an increasing number of banks and governmental organisations around the world through Thales' network of international business partners, spanning the globe from Australia in the east to Hawaii in the west and all points between.' | aphrodites

01/9/2007 13:27 | Hi WJ, I'm sure in the last results, it mentioned the intention to get into the pharmaceutical industry. I'd not heard of that before - what do you think is involved there - and what are the opportunities? Best wishes | ![]() carly2
01/9/2007 09:55 | Most of their clients don't like any publicity - who's organising your security is not something you want everyone to know. I remember Actividentity did something similar with an HSPD-12 deal for the Department of Veteran Affairs and had to withdraw it and issue an apology. I think jailbird's right - it's not as if there was any revenue attached at this stage. The more important thing is the 500k license fee contract which is 40% of last year's H1 revenues (depending on how they account for it) plus the fact that the amount they can charge for upfront license fees seems to be rising which indicates the demand for MyID. | ![]() wjccghcc

01/9/2007 00:59 | jailbird, It is very strange. The only reference Intercede now have to the Summer Breeze demonstration is a few words in their Past Events section: And when you consider the Salamander guy said, "The importance of this breakthrough demonstration is huge," you would think Salamander would have it on their website: But nothing there either. The original news item, posted by pork belly (#1636): has also been deleted from that news agency's site, which is very strange. Someone seems to be going to a lot of trouble trying to keep this news quiet. But I think it would be just too much work to get it deleted from the hundreds of other news sites that have already archived the same news item: New technology featured at Summer Breeze Monday, August 27 2007 RockWest Technology Group, Intercede and Salamander Technologies created the "first accountability software compatible PIV Card for first responders" at the Summer Breeze exercise for the Federal Homeland Security Department's National Capital Region Coordination (NCRC) Office. The new system included both smart card technology with FIPS 201 standards and an accountability compliant barcode. The PIV cards issued at the exercise utilized both technologies to ensure compatibility and interoperability of the PIV card with incident management software. First Accountability Software Compatible PIV Card for First Responders at Summer Breeze Exercise First Accountability Software Compatible PIV Card for First Responders at Summer Breeze Exercise RockWest Technology Group, Intercede and Salamander Technologies create first accountability software compatible PIV Card for first responders at Summer Breeze exercise for the Federal Homeland Security Department's National Capital Region Coordination (NCRC) Office. Denver, CO August 24, 2007--RockWest Technology Group, a leading sales and service integrator of photo identification, electronic security systems and incident management solutions, along with Intercede Corporation and Salamander Technologies have created the first known Incident Accountability Solution creating a completely FIPS compliant PIV credential for first responders. Summer Breeze, organized by The Federal Homeland Security Department's National Capital Region Coordination (NCRC) Office along with the State of Colorado and the Pentagon Force Protection Agency (PFPA), was one of a series of demonstrations to test the integration and interoperability of first responder credentials. These demonstrations have included checks for qualifications, authorizations, certifications and privileges that meet federal standards for FIPS201 and FRACS initiatives. The "first of its kind" system included both smart card technology with FIPS201 standards and an accountability compliant barcode. The PIV cards issued at the exercise utilized both technologies to ensure compatibility and interoperability of the PIV card with incident management software. Creating the PIV card featured the use of the Datacard CP80 Printer, BioMetric Fingerprint scanner, MyID PIV Card and Identity Credential Management Software and Salamander fireTRAX Software. After creating the card, Salamander's RapidTag program instantly recognized and created accountability credentials for the responder to be assigned and tracked at the incident. Matt McDaniel, Principal for RockWest says, "The uniqueness of this card comes from all the data in the tag including Barcodes and smart chips all working together to deliver known good data to the scene. Once a responder is granted access to the scene, the barcode qualification information allows incident commanders to make assignments and track responders within current NIMS accountability processes." "MyID is a leading PIV card and identity credential management system that is already used by many US Salamander's Incident Management system was a logical step and has produced the world's first completely FIPS201 compliant Incident Accountability solution," said Richard Parris, Intercede's Chairman and CEO. "We are delighted by the reception that we received at the Summer Breeze demonstration and look forward to capitalizing on this successful demonstration with both RockWest and Salamander." "The importance of this breakthrough demonstration is huge," added Joseph Robinson, VP Marketing and Sales at Salamander Technologies. "This is the first time 100% FIPS 201 smart card technology was successfully demonstrated for use with a 100% compliant NIMS accountability operating procedures. What it means to first responders, is that they now have a source for meeting the Federal Requirements for a secure, certified ID and that same ID can be used in an application in the field that goes beyond validation but really follows the NIMS SOP for Incident Management." "And that's not all," continued McDaniel, "Not only do you have an ID that meets all the Federal Guidelines to the letter, but this ID can be used for Door Access and secure login at the various facilities around the region. That means a single effort in proper ID and credential making can now be used for multiple purposes." About Salamander Technologies, Inc. Salamander Technologies, Inc., maker of fireTRAX accountability, is the nation's leading provider of personnel accountability solutions. Combining manual accountability with an electronic incident command solution, Salamander Technologies offers a simple, scalable, NIMS compliant solution for incident management.
