Also see the news on the website, Parris said that their products are wanted by companies all around the world.....and it makes sense as why else would RSA, verisign, Gemalto etc want to work with IGP.

My guess is this new contract is with Samsung as they have already dealt with them before on the boeing contract. cant think of another company it could be....The NHS contract in the UK is still going strong also with the health trusts so IGP will need to start increasing staff I guess to keep up with demand for their products so hopefully they can keep the costs down to a minimum.

This new girl in the US has to start delivering soon as well which I guess she will, Q3 is when Oracle is now supported with IGP MyID so this makes IGP more attractive to international clients.

Hopefully more bonus contracts like this to come over the next few months.

Don't think that's likely in a 14mm mkt cap company where 38% of the shares are held by directors and the rest of us aren't likely to sell anything until the step change in revenues occurs in 08/09. A placing is/was really the only way for an institution to get a meaningful stake.

Must admit management seem to be delivering - in the finals they said one of their three business aims for this year was to expand the partner base in Europe and today is certainly a good start.

Thanks WJ.

For some reason I did not pick this up.

It might be that my memory failed me in reading the announcement or it is old age I am afraid!!!

On the other hand it also answers a lot of questions and confirms my suspicions about the weakness of the share price in the run-up to the placing.

Also, if Hargreave is intent on adding to their stake they will want to keep the price down and might be one of the reasons for the current weakness. They can easily offer a bit of the placement to the market to surpress the price.

What we need now is two other interested institutions to start buying stock and we will be off to the races.

Happy days, just what this share needed. £0.5m put on 8-10p last Oct/Nov when they released news about the RSA contract so cant see why this wont do the same...any worries about current cashflow have now gone as with the £0.7m raised that makes at least £1.2m before any monies from the current contracts won.

Hopefully we will start to see upward momentum for the rest of the year now as September/October time is HSPD time....

It certainly removes one of my concerns that they would have to return to the market and raise further funds shortly.

Interesting snippet in the Times today under "Rumour of the day" saying Intercede is about to announce the £500K contract with a European electronics company.

It then says Hargreave Hale, the technology investor that is an offshhot of Hargreaves Lansdown, the broker, took a 6% stake this summer for £700,000.

I must have been away when this was announced. Can anyone advise when this was?

And of course, because of their fixed cost base, it all falls through to the bottom line.

Well that underpins H1 cashflow - revenue depends over what period they book the license fee. Nice one.

"The importance of this breakthrough demonstration is HUGE,"

"The importance of this breakthrough demonstration is huge," added Joseph Robinson, VP Marketing and Sales at Salamander Technologies. "This is the first time 100% FIPS 201 smart card technology was successfully demonstrated for use with a 100% compliant NIMS accountability operating procedures. What it means to first responders, is that they now have a source for meeting the Federal Requirements for a secure, certified ID and that same ID can be used in an application in the field that goes beyond validation but really follows the NIMS SOP for Incident Management."

"And that's not all," continued McDaniel, "Not only do you have an ID that meets all the Federal Guidelines to the letter, but this ID can be used for Door Access and secure login at the various facilities around the region. That means a single effort in proper ID and credential making can now be used for multiple purposes."

First Accountability Software Compatible PIV Card for First Responders at Summer Breeze Exercise

RockWest Technology Group, Intercede and Salamander Technologies create first accountability software compatible PIV Card for first responders at Summer Breeze exercise for the Federal Homeland Security Department's National Capital Region Coordination (NCRC) Office.

Denver, CO (PRWEB) August 24, 2007

RockWest Technology Group, a leading sales and service integrator of photo identification, electronic security systems and incident management solutions, along with Intercede Corporation and Salamander Technologies have created the first known Incident Accountability Solution creating a completely FIPS compliant PIV credential for first responders.

Summer Breeze, organized by The Federal Homeland Security Department's National Capital Region Coordination (NCRC) Office along with the State of Colorado and the Pentagon Force Protection Agency (PFPA), was one of a series of demonstrations to test the integration and interoperability of first responder credentials. These demonstrations have included checks for qualifications, authorizations, certifications and privileges that meet federal standards for FIPS201 and FRACS initiatives.

The "first of its kind" system included both smart card technology with FIPS201 standards and an accountability compliant barcode. The PIV cards issued at the exercise utilized both technologies to ensure compatibility and interoperability of the PIV card with incident management software.

Creating the PIV card featured the use of the Datacard CP80 Printer, BioMetric Fingerprint scanner, MyID PIV Card and Identity Credential Management Software and Salamander fireTRAX Software. After creating the card, Salamander's RapidTag program instantly recognized and created accountability credentials for the responder to be assigned and tracked at the incident.

Matt McDaniel, Principal for RockWest says, "The uniqueness of this card comes from all the data in the tag including Barcodes and smart chips all working together to deliver known good data to the scene. Once a responder is granted access to the scene, the barcode qualification information allows incident commanders to make assignments and track responders within current NIMS accountability processes."

"MyID is a leading PIV card and identity credential management system that is already used by many US Salamander's Incident Management system was a logical step and has produced the world's first completely FIPS201 compliant Incident Accountability solution," said Richard Parris, Intercede's Chairman and CEO. "We are delighted by the reception that we received at the Summer Breeze demonstration and look forward to capitalizing on this successful demonstration with both RockWest and Salamander."

Hi igoe,
Well, the 23rd didn't bring the share price rise I wanted!!! I sold about 25% of my holding -and am waiting to see where the share price goes. I still can't beleive the reaction - Ok, lower output for Q3 - but actually higher for Q4. And, well the margin is supposedly trending toward 15% - but on the increase in production, it will still be making good profits. The hit for £2m re the loan is just a currency movement - if it reversed next year, would the share price rocket because of it..Overall I am still a holder - so we'll see.
Anyway, thanks for your concern - and sorry for O/T everybody
