kazoom - agreed. Nothing’s ever guaranteed. But it is fairly unusual for an individual (other than the founder) to hold such a large stake in a listed company. Usually that’s left to fund managers. And at least it’s someone with a proven commercial track record. Rather than just someone with more money than sense. Still no guarantee IDP’s share price will flourish though. And rather him than me investing in a city bar chain!

Thanks Lolly - it's a decent CV of course, but the statement was ... "no dummy and will want significant returns on his investments here."

We all want significant returns on our investment don't we? Sometimes we get them, some times we don't - Mr Ward was a renowned investment guru it would be one thing. Don't mean to be negative but I think we need to be careful of automatically getting carried away with the fact that someone has a large shareholding.

All companies have 100% of their shares owned by shareholders of one ilk or another.

I agree Mark Ward is no fool. Am not familiar with RBG, but would be nervous putting any money into a city centre bar group given the increased work from home trend. Anecdotally, I've read RNG's bars are busier than ever right now. However RBG's share price has generally been on a downward slope since 2015, barring a brief period between mid 2016 & mid 2017. There may have been management changes or something else to suggest a turnaround is on the cards. But any company that has managed to crash the share price from over £2 in 2017 to 22p today is one to be wary of IMHO. Not that IDP has excelled in the "creating shareholder value" department either in recent years!

I noticed that our big shareholder and Non Exec Director Mark Ward has just increased his holding in Revolution Bars Group (RBG) from 5.8% to 9.8%, and four directors also bought into the May 2021 fund raise plus two bought subsequently. Mark W is no fool and clearly the directors are feeling bullish, so worth a look.

kazoom - perhaps I could answer on beetroot juice's behalf, so you actually get the facts. Mark Ward made £millions from building up Hunter MacDonald, before merging it with Netcompany. Here's IDP's own summary: "Mark is a successful and experienced digital and technology professional with strong links to the consumer and service industries. He founded Hunter Macdonald, a digital transformation and services company in 2013 and under his leadership, the business employed more than 400 employees within 5 years. In 2017, Hunter Macdonald was recognised as being one of the fastest-growing companies in the UK, and in October of the same year, the business merged with Scandinavian based Netcompany which is now publicly listed on Nasdaq OMX. Mark began his career at PwC working in M&A and operations and spent 13 years in senior operational director roles for Reckitt Benckiser, Verizon, BT, and Friends Life."

Mark Whites no dummy and will want significant returns on his investments here.

I'll let getting the guy's surname wrong go as a typo; but what do you actually know about Mark Ward to conclude that he's "no dummy". Personally I haven't been able to find out anything about who he is , so please do share.

beetroot juice - we might take you slightly more seriously (though I doubt it) if you actually got the Director's name right. It’s Mark WARD, not White. Given the many hundred thousand IDP shares you claim to own, don’t you think you’d at least know the basics?

Decent Day Today here.

Looking very strong now as we run up to the results at month end.

Should see us start to move back towards a triple digit share price 100p = Only a £27 million mkt cap.

Peanuts for a recovery stock such as Innovaderma now is.

Mark Whites no dummy and will want significant returns on his investments here.

Expecting another Strong blue day tomorrow.

IDP = Strong buy.

And projections are conservative IMO, to say the least. Not long to wait for confirmation, few weeks only to the results, some buying as we move closer should occur.

Certainly has been a testing stock to hold. Also averaged down recently, unless there is a serious drop in actual against forecast revenues in the results.

Then I can only see the share price recovering from these lows.

I hope so ishwar...the underlying Bid has been creeping up (39.65p currently) and a break of 40p looks good from a layman's view of the chart.

Having been invested here to varying degrees since 2016 this is by far my worst ever investment but I'm hopeful the new board can help me recoup some losses and have been tentatively topping up recently.

Still expecting another holding RNS. Octopus had disposed of an additional 6%, currently not accounted for by Mr ward.

Almost an additional 1% of the company - that’s a lot more than 25k... where did that number come from?
