11/2/2021 07:35 | Hi, does anyone know if i need to call my broker (barclays) regarding any options i have. Bit confused | professor_az
03/2/2021 18:05 | They should come out and outline how they can provide value. | deanowls
03/2/2021 16:22 | Current management have only been in place for a few months though. So difficult to judge their performance. | boonboon
03/2/2021 16:06 | Compare both companies 3 yr charts. One has been creating value the other not. | its the oxman
03/2/2021 16:02 | Think if Creightons offer nearer 50p it could work, IDP dilution will not be good and current management have not created much of value here so far. | its the oxman
03/2/2021 09:46 | They have what they describe as a 3 stool approach - Contract Manufacture, Development of Private Label for customers and Own Brands.
This does provide some balance in a constantly evolving environment. | cockerhoop
03/2/2021 09:34 | Creightons seems to be an example of what good management can achieve as on the face of it they don't appear to have any individual stand out products or brands. | rettah
03/2/2021 09:27 | That may be. But not at 44p. Talk about opportunist. Do you work for CRL or something? | lord loads of lolly
03/2/2021 07:19 | For private investors it will be advantageous to accept the CRL offer it gives us less dilution of our holdings and a similar upside with the security of a proven management. | wskill
02/2/2021 23:28 | “A small tweak”. You’re havin’ a larf, innit. Why, pray, would Mark Ward be remotely interested in a small tweak to 44p, when the shares closed today @ 49p and he bought over a quarter of a million pounds worth only last Nov @ 70p? | lord loads of lolly
02/2/2021 13:24 | I am reassured with the management at crl at present our new team is an unknown,I think if crl go for a hostile takeover before this open offer it could well be a winner with a small tweak on the offer price. | wskill
02/2/2021 13:04 | Kinwah,
I've held CRL for a while, they're a quality management team that have delivered for shareholders - clearly the opposite is the case at IDP.
IDP now in play with 47% of shareholding bought at 35p. BAR may become involved with their Chairman taking 5% of IDP in January. | cockerhoop
02/2/2021 12:41 | So as shareholders you're happy with IDP nearly doubling the share count at 35p but 44p undervalues the company? Am I getting that right? | cockerhoop
02/2/2021 12:33 | Looking at CRL I would be happy with their paper wish we had a share price chart like them decent management by the looks of it as well.
The way it stands now we only have the 1 for 12 rights issue, the open offer is where the guys are getting a decent slice of the pie we would be better off as private shareholders taking the crl shares and still have more or less the same upside due to the dilution.
The opening offer is a little low though hopefully they will increase it. | wskill
02/2/2021 10:33 | Rule 8 cost=£8kish up to £10m mkt cap | grim
02/2/2021 09:09 | Pushing IDP into an offer situation just adds needless expense which IDP can't afford. Shareholders with 1% of the company or more have to issue Rule 8 disclosures at their own expense for a bid that's got no chance of success. IDP must be very annoyed with this. | kinwah
02/2/2021 08:38 | Called it in post 23078. I think the management at CRL are very happy more sauce and would certainly spin a lot more value for shareholders than the current management will. Price is cheeky but they are interested as they wouldn’t have dropped that today.
Opening day offer and I hope it works out. | deanowls
02/2/2021 08:36 | So Mark bought the shares at 70p and they are offering him 44p? I wonder what he will say to that? | kemche
02/2/2021 08:21 | 44p offer price lol | scepticalinvestor
02/2/2021 08:06 | Flush out others? | kemche
02/2/2021 08:05 | Yes, this is an opening shot, worth 80p imho. | czar
02/2/2021 07:46 | Will they come back with a revised offer ? Clearly can see value at these depressed prices. | doc robinson
02/2/2021 07:23 | The board should publish the complete unexpurgated reply to this "offer". All two words! | kemche
