01/6/2017 16:19 | The RNS also states ' we look forward to significantly expanding our retail distribution footprint to new retailers throughout our key markets. 'The key market is UK and US - again this indicates the exclusivity deal with SD will end in the medium or short term | croasdalelfc
01/6/2017 16:17 | Look fantastic is now stocking a bigger range 16 up from 13 and feelunique have a 3 for 2 special across the range | croasdalelfc
01/6/2017 16:01 | Since it seems that time of day I confess to buying Fever Tree Cola at £1.70 instead of Coke for 99p. But only with my FEVR dividends ;-))) Is that a ramp? Apologies if OT! | sogoesit
01/6/2017 15:18 | There you go. Fancy paying £2.50 for a cup of coffee. Same reason people pay for ST. | monkeywench1
01/6/2017 15:18 | aren't people missing the fact that ST supposedly helps the "skinny" bit of self-tanning so comparing to SWL products is like apples and pears? Excuse me if I have that wrong, happy making money here comewhat maY! | qs99
01/6/2017 15:18 | What about your shorts, where do buy them from remarko? | andyr42
01/6/2017 15:17 | Good point about Body Shop. IDP is a great example of a modern busiess concern where they are using the social media instruments and the internet for marketing, promoting and selling their products. They have built an excellent base to lift off seriously into a mega company. Also remember only c.11-12m shares in circulation and market cap still paltry. Onwards and upwards I think. | andyr42
01/6/2017 15:13 | remarkomsoc1 Jun '17 - 14:54 - 5166 of 5168 0 0 In many things, people feel reassured when they pay premium prices, makes them feel better. I would bet a lot of money that you remarkomsoc1 buy items at a premium price. I doubt you will admit it on this BB. | monkeywench1
01/6/2017 15:08 | "No orange stains on the sheets..." Now you don't know whether your girl-friend, or wife, is a fake holiday-maker. Hmmm ;-) Yep, premium pricing does the trick. A good signaller. I think Guarana is bio-friendly too. That's how Body Shop started. Pushes all the right buttons. | sogoesit
01/6/2017 14:54 | They're not only taking market share of their competitors, from previous interviews a lot of customers are first time users of self tan. So they are actually growing the total market. | boonboon
01/6/2017 14:51 | Che7winThe point is IDP are taking market share off their competitors. Superdrug stock St Tropez, L'OrĂ©al. Amber Solaire, Bondi Sands, and many more and prices range from £5 to £40 but ST have gone from nowhere to the highest Revenue bronzing, self tan brand in Superdrug, they are creating a buzz about the brand, and the reason is the girls love it, plain and simple. The product sells because it is very good. No streaking, a natural colour no biscuit smell etc etc. No orange stains on the sheets. Instant tan with Express Mousse or Tan and Tone Oil.My missus was a St Tropez user for years and a few sunbeds as well! I bought her some ST for Xmas and she is a convert - and has been asked maybe 20 times if it's natural/ have you been on holiday etc. At least 3 friends have bought it in local SD and wear it, and they have been asked if it's natural, the word of mouth snowball effect plus social media - very powerful | croasdalelfc
01/6/2017 14:49 | Che7win once skinny tan stops growing, hopefully years down the line. They have plenty of scope to lower the price to restimulate the demand. Why should they sell at a lower price now when obviously they can demand a premium. BTW Pepsi always seem to be cheaper than Coca-Cola. Many people still prefer to buy Coca-Cola, me included. | boonboon |
