01/6/2017 14:43 | Alban, yes, SWL is doing the same, maybe W7L do the same? Fake bake is much cheaper, its not hard to undercut IDP as it's so expensive. Even more than L'oreal. All these growth stocks, G4M, Fevertree, Boo, they are all getting a bit heated. | che7win
01/6/2017 14:41 | I've always wondered why Asda lager isn't served in my pub. 50p a pint, punters would be celebrating up and down the country! Or maybe they have taste buds. | zagrosfold
01/6/2017 14:38 | Sold a few and went into SWL Chetwin Read about SWL tanning range Swallowfield have the capability to manufacture a range of bronzing and tanning products. Self-tanning products include gels, mousse, lotion and spray tan products. Bronzing products include powders, balls, balm and oils. | albanyvillas
01/6/2017 14:34 | Is that the BVIC that has the same share price now as three years ago? | boonboon
01/6/2017 14:32 | So Che7win why don't you start a new tanning range you could do just as well as SkinnyTan and IPO it. You'd make a fortune. Off course you'd have to choose a brand name, design packaging get someone to manufacture it. Create a stir on social media (maybe you could go on dragons den). All you'd need to do then is convince Superdrug or boots to take someone else of the shelves and replace with your brand. Oh let's not forget about etailers, I'm sure they're easy to get into as well. It all sounds so easy. | boonboon
01/6/2017 14:29 | Yea it wasn't a keeper for you at 150p-200p lol It will not be a keeper for you at 400-500p the never ending story. | ileeman
01/6/2017 14:28 | iLeeman, I haven't called anything wrong, I like a company with high and sustainable ROCE, something like BVIC. I'm very interested to follow the story having traded here many times. Fair points chaps, well done on your success. | che7win
01/6/2017 14:27 | Have you noticed how Asda Tesco etc all sell their own versions of coke. I think the point is that there are always cheaper alternatives etc. marketing and having a quality product are key. | monkeywench1
01/6/2017 14:27 | che7win, I can get Tonic Water at the pound shop - Fevertree don't seem to be complaining! | kemche
01/6/2017 14:26 | looks like che7 called this awfully wrong again, becoming a habit. | ileeman
01/6/2017 14:24 | Zag, yes, Fevertree has found a niche that other major players missed, and exploited it. IDP is taking run of the mill generic ingredients and marketing them, the margins here are very high - that attracts competition. They are delivering very well, how long before the competition squeezes them? The margins are extremely high, that is great, but also mean the competition can destroy them with a price war. Look at ASDA's latest magazine, they have self tanning lotion 1/3rd the price of ST as an example. If ST customers listened to that interview, do you think they would pay such high prices for what in all accounts is a generic product? | che7win
01/6/2017 14:08 | Great interview. Exciting times for the company. This is starting to make up an unhealthy portion of my portfolio, but I'm not inclined to take any off the table yet. Run your winners! | connor23
01/6/2017 13:58 | I would estimate a slightly higher average price as there would be quite a few people buying multiples to avoid delivery charges. | boonboon
01/6/2017 13:55 | Deliveries are up from 10000 a month at the interims to 24000! I'm guessing that is counting all the DTC channels in U.K. US Spain and Aus.With an average sale price of £25 (prices range from £5 to £150 but a lot of sales are BOGOFs at about £30 so I'll be conservative and say £25)- that is £600k a month through DTC alone. | croasdalelfc
01/6/2017 13:53 | It's the same with most consumer products to be honest. No different to L'Oréal or rimmel. | boonboon
01/6/2017 13:51 | che7win, Your buffoonery knows no bounds. Keep it up lad! | kemche
01/6/2017 13:51 | che7win - Haris mentioned Fevertree who also have no IP or patent over their products yet are worth £2 billion. It's all about branding! | zagrosfold
01/6/2017 13:48 | The thing with Stevie K is they have a database of 200,000 to exploit straight away. They could put discount vouchers in shipments of skinny tan. Or email the entire database. | boonboon
01/6/2017 13:47 | Well, looks like the interviewer is asking all my questions :-) My doubts are all answered - NO intellectual property or patentable products, 5% is the product, the rest is 'generic', watch this particular niche with it's high margins degrade over time. Short term, great news, long term, who knows, packaging and a bit of hype through social media. This will either be successful or turn into a damp squib, party very much going on right now, who knows what the outcome will be. DYOR. | che7win
01/6/2017 13:43 | £4 today? | qs99
01/6/2017 13:42 | If they can replicate the success with Stevie K as they have with ST then the mind just boggles! £100m mkt cap then would look paltry IMHO | kemche
01/6/2017 13:40 | Oh and that's why SD get first dibs on the new Haircare range | croasdalelfc
01/6/2017 13:39 | Kemche - and that's why SD have exclusivity on Body Glow for now plus Tan and Tone Oil for the last 3 weeks." revenue for ST in SD is way ahead of its nearest rival" They stock St Tropez and Bondi Sands and others | croasdalelfc |
