Tell that to those that "invested" in INFA at the turn of this year when it was over 50p huh. Nearly 50% down.

Dilution now or even more dilution later.

Nice find 'B..trader'

Surely INFA will pick up some of this work.

'The Royal Navy’s (RN’s) current shipbuilding plan includes eight Type 26 frigates, five Type 31 frigates, and a projected follow-on Type 32 general-purpose frigate. Three new solid support ships are also planned.'

Mornign rampers, with the open offer failing to attract even 50% of the expected offering and massive payments due for the 2nd staged payment of appledore, wonder when the next fundraising will be in this bottomless money pit. If they are going to stand a chance in the competitions they will also be spending money like water. It's no wonder the share price is below the last placing price.

Agree Sloth, in fact your post illustrates the wider issues in repopulating our heavy industries in general. We need Navantia and others to help the UK to restart and eventually regain critical mass.

We cannot do this alone, very difficult. That said Appledore is not an extinct business in the sense that deep mined UK coal is.

I agree with Terminator that this is not ‘slam dunk’ but I envisage the future very positively.

Appledore cannot get the Skilled Staff. All those employed by the previous Owners have now retired or are working at Plymouth.

No one is suggesting that Brittania is a slam dunk, far from it, just that Appledore in due course can have the capability to win the contract.

Whoa, that's a lot of propellers to be screwed into windmills to pay that off.
