02/12/2013 15:17 | Will it finally come good here or let longterm holders down again. Let's hope that it builds momentum and the winds of change set in. The cash distribution early this year was a good start! | lauders
02/12/2013 08:30 | New Buy in Techinvest | aishah
02/12/2013 08:11 | Exotic, I think it must have been tipped somewhere over the weekend - because it was marked up 6.5p pre-open, and then there's been a flurry of buys first thing. Usually both signs of it having been tipped in a newspaper somewhere. Helpful, as we need a new wave of fresh buyers, those of us that have been around since 2004 or early are arguably getting a little stale! Cheers, Paul. | paulypilot
02/12/2013 08:06 | Interesting early rise this morning! Up 2.4% already. Was this tipped somewhere at the weekend? | exotic
14/11/2013 20:03 | IndigoVision mail shot sent out this evening. Nothing we didn't already know, but they could certainly do with increasing the font size next time and spacing out the paragraphs ..... quite unprofessional. Anyway, for those not on the mailing list... Dear [Exotic], IndigoVision announce record first quarter results, a 33% increase of camera sales and, several major project wins including the overlay system for the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil "Market feedback on the IndigoVision cameras has been magnificent," stated Marcus Kneen, IndigoVision Chief Executive Officer, "Our Enhanced HD cameras consistently win technical shoot-outs by delivering better quality video in even the most challenging lighting conditions and were voted one of the best new security products at the 2013 ASIS trade show in Chicago." "IndigoVision continues to invest significantly in technology and will shortly announce the launch of a 20 Megapixel camera, the first ultra-high resolution camera that delivers the video quality that the security industry demands. Feedback from initial installations has been extremely positive with the camera outperforming competitors due to stunning picture detail and an unparalleled image speed of 120 Megapixels per second." IndigoVision also announced major project wins for city surveillance in Malaysia, Sao Paulo International Airport and the third project for the 2014 FIFA World Cup. These project wins continue IndigoVision's established pedigree for complex security projects and events, with IndigoVision's technology being deployed for the FIFA World Cup in 2006 and 2010 as well as every Olympic games since 2004. Group revenues for the first quarter were 14% higher than the corresponding period last year. Margins were maintained in line with last year and, as planned, overheads increased following last year's 30% increase in sales and pre sales headcount. Notwithstanding these cost increases, the combination of better sales and solid margins resulted in net operating performance for the first quarter being comfortably ahead of the corresponding period last year. | exotic
14/11/2013 09:06 | The volatility of this share is amazing. I bet those people who sold out at less than 300p are kicking themselves... | kiwihope

12/11/2013 18:10 | Appreciate the extensive AGM report SRSM..Sounds like IND is well on the road to recovery. Only recently back in myself, but looking to add on weakness and tuck away as I suspect CCTV etc will become an ever more intruding presence in our lives. | fangorn2
12/11/2013 18:07 | Good run into the close | dewtrader
12/11/2013 16:56 | No confusion kalc, perhaps just confusing the way I wrote it. The point of my post was that explosion proof solutions for oil & gas industry has no read across to military scenarios. A point a post I replied too tried to suggest. Both applications I refer to are designed to prevent large scale damaging explosions rather than allow cameras to 'survive' such explosions. | oilretire
12/11/2013 16:06 | Oilretire, I think you may be getting confused, intrinsically safe and explosion proof are quite different descriptions in the gas industry or at least it was when I left it 4 years ago. PP I've finally succumbed to your support of Indi :-) After DMOR of course. Now looks like a very good time to be in the company with the turnaround finally coming together. Always a pleasure to read your morning reports. | kalkanite
12/11/2013 15:32 | exotic, explosion proof does not have the same meaning in the oil & gas sector. It means eX safe or intrinsically safe i.e. incapable of igniting an explosive atmosphere. e.g. Very important to be able to monitor gas leak situations without committing personnel to assess the problem. | oilretire
12/11/2013 15:19 | I was also caught out by the 17-month broker forecast, doh! For anyone interested (and apologies for cross-posting), I wrote up my thoughts on today's IND statement elsewhere, here is the link to my report: | paulypilot
12/11/2013 12:25 | Excellent, thanks Layabout | exotic
12/11/2013 12:12 | Exotic, the overlay is the software that integrates video streams from other installations and suppliers into one central control centre. I would have thought the supplier that controls the overlay is in a good position to influence sales of other equipment as well. I wonder if the upcoming 20MP camera which is intended for stadium surveillance use, is for the olympics / world cup. This was a press release for UKTI: hxxp://opentoexport. With its extensive Olympics experience behind it, IndigoVision began to explore opportunities to supply upcoming sports events in Brazil, such as the 2014 FIFA World Cup and the 2016 Olympics. The company worked with UKTI's sports sector specialists in Rio to identify the people it needed to speak to and arrange meetings with relevant decision makers. Having UKTI in the mix helped IndigoVision to secure a contract to provide cameras, storage and video management software to the FIFA Confederation Cup in June 2013. The company will also be providing Video IP systems, cameras and storage to two World Cup venues in Brasilia; 24 mobile command control units; an overlay programme and integration software that will bring together footage recorded by other suppliers at the different venues. "UKTI's support and our experience as a supplier to several Olympic Games, including London 2012, has helped us to win work with the organisers of the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil," says Marcus. "We found UKTI's local teams in Brazil to be effective, focussed and, in short, phenomenal. We've also had excellent support from UKTI's Defence and Security Organisation along the way. They make it all happen. I'd even go as far as to say that, when it comes to supporting small British businesses, funding UKTI programmes is the best spend of any government money." | layabout
12/11/2013 12:08 | Layabout, thank you... I'd missed that. | shanklin
12/11/2013 12:00 | the mix of sales continues to migrate from encoders to intelligent cameras with sales of intelligent cameras for the first three months increasing by over one-third compared to the corresponding quarter last year. Thats the high margin stuff | dewtrader
12/11/2013 11:59 | Shanklin don't forget next "year" is 17 months as they are changing their FY year end to end of Dec 2014. | layabout
12/11/2013 11:56 | ".. explosion proof camera range designed for the oil and gas industry .." I bet the range will also attract a lot of sales to the military (IND tend to keep military matters quiet these days ...I wonder if IND system still protects the White House?). | exotic |
