Layabout - Last but one line in the blog. Wouldn't write off the £4 bid.

Paul Scott was talking about delayed sales, not sure if that is from the company or guesswork on his part.

If it had been delayed sales it would have been nice to hear that from the company itself as part of the trading statement rather than leaking it out.

Would also be nice to see some Director buying with their own money if they have confidence.

£4 bid anyone??

Yeah you'd imagine its going to be a bumper Q1 if some of the suppose'd big sales have been delayed.

Looks like New Pistoia Income Limited have used the price fall to increase their stake by a further 100,000+.
They are obviously seeing some value here where nobody else seems to at the moment !! Wonder if all those sales in the pipeline will start showing through this year)

They timed the RNS so they could make a 'head and shoulders' shape on the share price chart....

I did not like the statement in the middle of the day.

Huge head and shoulders on the chart imo.

I cannot believe it takes until the last couple of days of the year to know that you are going to miss by this far imo. I also dislike their frequent use of 'as expected' when clearly the mkt isn't expecting.

Illiquid, hot and cold and on a fwd PE of over 15 just seems more than fully valued for a co that can let investors down so often imo.

Takes time to turn the ship around. As far as I can see they are now actually doing something right.

£2m v £3.2m forecast. Big miss.

Looking like need to factor margins being much lower going forward.

Also note at £32m turnover there was no growth H1 v H2.

Struggling to see the bull case at the current share price.

Increased headcount up one third, bad news, lower profits for some time

Hi all,

Considering we're only 4 business days from next trading update, things seem pretty slow/quiet....

Any of the better-informed posters out there care to hazard a guess on likely outcome ?

TIA

Good point re trading and spread.
But totally skint. Sigh!

Now if only I learned to sell stuff at the top and buy at the bottom... double sigh!

SRSM IND can have a wide spread and difficult to trade in volume. Why don't you just buy new shares into your ISA and keep the shares outside the ISA as well :-)
