I have absolutely no idea what the share price will do in the short term!
It depends on loads of factors, market sentiment, etc, and we're in the news vacuum now until a trading statement due late July/early Aug.

In my view this share is now just a straightforward bet on whether or not you think Marcus + team can continue with the turnaround. I think they have a good business, which could become a great business, and that there is now a clear strategy being implemented, with improved people, processes, and new products.

We'll just have to wait & see whether that delivers better financial results.

You said that you would probably be tempted to buy more if the share price went below 300p. Do you see this happening as the price has held up well since the interims? I bought some more at just under 330p (with the dividend) about one month ago just in case it did not drop back.In the past there has normally been a drop, but this time?

Thanks for the update Paul.

They've left themselves a lot to do in the second half and whilst they have said they are confident of beating last year's operating performance, the broker's forecast which is the one they will presumably be judged against, is quite a stretch beyond last year's result.

Another profit warning if they fall short of that would be disasterous.

Having said that for them to be so confident at this stage of the year without the usual caveats of limited order visibility is very unusual so I can't help feeling they have some good orders in the bag already.

Jaf - well I think people (rightly) want to wait & see what the results for this year are like. Should be a trading statement in July.
