21/4/2022 17:33 | Indeed - an interesting estimate on prices but the board is there to do the bidding for WB as he and the bond holders run the business. At some stage Lombard Odier will want out and they recently sold a few so they could book a profit on their holding - such is the City!! With a share overhang and a few other questions I would rather have IOG in my portfolio than say SQZ as they have a potential dangerous hedge policy which they are doing something about but too slow for me. IOG is a target for WB and SQZ maybe wanting to make an acquisition but I don't think the board is really willing. We will see. | anley
21/4/2022 16:54 | Fortunately the ultimate value will not be influenced by Log administrators trickle selling shares to pay themselves fees but rather on delivery of gas to plan or a little late and forward prices remaining significantly above the planned for 45p. | bountyhunter
21/4/2022 16:52 | Yes every now and then sell a few, pay their fee, lol | montyhedge
21/4/2022 16:36 | Yes Bounty...we have almost a third of the company being used as a bank account | marvelman
21/4/2022 16:31 | They don't want to or their fees would come to an end. | bountyhunter
21/4/2022 16:13 | Yes they can't dump that amount of shares in the market. If I had the money 25p cash for the shares. | montyhedge
21/4/2022 13:35 | That's exactly the issue Monty...its not their money, or conversely perhaps they do see it as their money..at least as long as they hold on to the shares. There was always going to be an issue with LOG holding such a large portion of the company but I had been counting on a bid for them (the shares) long before now given the change in the gas outlook. | marvelman
21/4/2022 13:29 | Not if WB buys them or after first gas from Southwark. | bountyhunter
21/4/2022 13:26 | Of course you're right but the longer they hang on the less they will get for the shares. But of course not they money. | montyhedge
21/4/2022 13:07 | If Southwark is now drilling they really should RNS it to the market along with current flow rates from Elgood and Blythe to stop the rot. Last night's presentation has done nothing for the share price unfortunately, even with the gas price up nearly 5% today. | bountyhunter
21/4/2022 11:48 | Monty...they are not that interested while they are continuing to pick up their fees for doing absolutely nothing | marvelman
21/4/2022 11:45 | Offered their stock to shareholders 25p, would be snapped up. | montyhedge
21/4/2022 11:03 | That's more clarification then Toptrader which puts us far more in the picture than we were yesterday especially regarding LOG. Thanks again. | marvelman
21/4/2022 10:57 | You're welcome guys! Also re LOG the main creditor is the Treasury and hence an explanation as to why the administrator hasn't sought thus far to crystalize value. AH said they regularly ask the administrator to name their price to help facilitate a placing with ii's and nothing has been forthcoming. | t0pgrader
21/4/2022 10:25 | SQZ used some creative hedging accounting so as not to blow their own trumpet too loudly. Beneath that the results were excellent especially the figures provided from 1/1/22 where the 66% uplift in BKR revenues had a significant impact. IOG management could learn a few lessons from SQZ. | bountyhunter
21/4/2022 10:21 | Current production may be 90mmscf/d based on last time the first two wells flowed together! The maths is our friend.SQZ as a comparison? I know its been said before but there results dont look as good as IOG's future to me? Not had time to look properly yet. Their mcap about 1bn pounds stg. | edgar222
21/4/2022 10:20 | Much appreciated Topgrader :) My guess is that LOG are awaiting an offer they can't refuse from WB although milking the share price for their 'fees' until such time is irritating. | bountyhunter
21/4/2022 10:06 | Yes page 5! With the forecast of GP. Don't know why they can't add current production is 45mmscf/d Do the math per Quarter... Till end of 2022. Rev. bigger the MC.. | officerdigby
21/4/2022 09:14 | Topgrader, Cheers for posting up the April 22 presentation. For some reason I really like page 5 of that presentation, especially Q4 once Southwark is due to be online. But Q2 and Q3 are projected to be very robust too. Regards, Ed. | edgein
21/4/2022 09:07 | Many thanks for your feedback Topgrader. So now we have confirmation that not only are the LOG Administrators milking the share price to pay for their bonuses but they are more than happy to continue doing so, presumably until they have sucked the well dry. I have rarely seen any company in administration where this has not happened. They could have sold their holding many months ago but their greed precedes their obligation to the poor souls who have already lost out due to LOG's collapse. We have to hope that stronger motivation for them to let go of their Golden Cash Cow although I am not yet sure where that is going to come from. | marvelman
20/4/2022 22:42 | Two months of combined production from Blythe and Elgood will enable the longer term forecast to be made. That is a fact and no speculation about cashflows is necessary. | itsriskythat
20/4/2022 22:26 | My overall impression esp after talking to AH for 20 mins is that they have worked so hard to get to this point they dont yet have sufficient clarity of vision with supporting production data to be able to elucidate a compelling investment case beyond the short/term cf projection. | t0pgrader
20/4/2022 21:48 | guess if they keep administrating long enough, then they maximise their fees!!! | melody9999
20/4/2022 21:39 | Thanks tg, two positives then which remove some uncertainty and should help the share price tomorrow :) | bountyhunter |
