Also LOG administrator has indicated no intention thus far to sell. The small share sales are believed to cover the administrator's fees.

Quick update from event: Southwark is definitely drilling again. Temp fix at Blythe will not impact assessment of stable flow rate.

Next week would indeed be stretching it a bit for 'mid-month' unless that means every day except for the 1st and 30th lol!

Agree marvelman - there are a few punters over on LSE (non industry experienced) who kept harping on and on about great we didn't get taken over by RRE and it has been worth the wait?!

We all realise that the initial discussions were not "serious" and it would probably have ended up with (what?) 25p share offer equivalent - which would have been infinitely better than the long drawn out hell we have been put through.

It was so obvious that the "team" were there for job and LTIPs protection - but simply we are where we are now and let's hope they can finally get started drilling soon - without our (previous) 2p reserves (estimates) not dropping, lol!

All IMHO and best of luck all.

BH I know and perhaps being pedantic but next week could still have been mid month - as per 4th.
It is no longer mid month and FFS they should have worded it or known better when issuing such information the 4th.
They always seem to be late on everything - they could have pre-loaded the supplies on the rig and the specific materials equipment they couldn't should take two days max and we know very well how long the rig has been in situ from great updates over on LSE.
Again all IMHO.

Dunder...I cannot help concur (regretfully) with every word you have posted. I really cannot give any enthusiastic support for this management and hold only in the hope that they will be taken out soon. LOG administrators are not making the situation any less frustrating.

DH, yes they stated Southwark restart 'next week' last week so that should be this week, but as we well know on time would be a surprise but you never know. On time for once might give the share price a boost?!

13/4/22 "At Southwark, over last weekend the Noble Hans Deul rig was successfully moved into position alongside the platform, with the legs positioned securely on the newly installed rock pads. Preparations have been underway since then to resume development drilling at Southwark in the course of the next week."

marvelman - why do you think there are not ready buyers - they stated drilling starting mid April - on what the 4th April - and have f'ed that up it seems yet again?!
These guys quite simply are not up to the job from every angle as far as I can see.

I hope we get a late RNS today confirming drilling starting for the "investor show" or whatever it is referred but it looks with this "delay" there is potentially another cluster f on the way?

EDIT if there isn't - it doesn't really matter anyway because all nervous investors are currently thinking the worst!

All IMHO.

Rise - consolidation is the most normal pattern you can see on a chart. A new level is reached and for a period buyers and sellers balance as some de-risk or capture profit. This is especially the case here at above 30p as there are conceivably holders from 2018. As ever with a break out people get nervous, especially new buyers. Then there is the psychological barrier of paying new highs after a decent run; its absurd but that is how it is.

Were I a large holder I would certainly be derisking, but also retaining plenty for the next leg up.

Stuck in a trading range while we await further news on Southwark?

From the RNS 5 days ago:

"Preparations have been underway since then to resume development drilling at Southwark in the course of the next week."

Why would they, they will probably get far more from WB at some point after Southwark is online.

Just a thought, why not offer them to shareholders at a big discount say 25p. They got to be sold one day.

It's a shame, this overhanging the shareprice. Investors hate uncertainty.
