19/9/2021 11:43 | Cheers dd, still perfecting the header! | bountyhunter
19/9/2021 11:42 | I approve of this new thread! | dunderheed
19/9/2021 10:58 | With gas all over the news due to the high prices it seemed like a good idea to start a new thread to highlight IOG, with first gas from the North Sea due imminently - in Q4 2021. | bountyhunter
19/9/2021 10:57 | Interesting links John, the energy debate is certainly hotting up with global warming affecting us all now. With sky high gas prices the spotlight is also on our home grown gas suppliers such as SQZ and KIST, with IOG soon due to join this exclusive club. As John Ford Timmins who started this thread hasn't posted on advfn since Feb 2014 and this header is out of date, I have started a new thread which I hope meets everyone's approval... | bountyhunter
19/9/2021 10:48 | First attempt trashed (wrong name, it's IOG now), please go here... | bountyhunter
19/9/2021 10:20 | Got the name wrong here, new 'IOG' thread is | bountyhunter
17/9/2021 07:50 | Fossil fuel firms sue governments across the world for £13bn as climate policies threaten profits Five energy companies, including British companies Rockhopper and Ascent, are using a legal process that allows commercial entities to sue governments under international laws governing trade agreements and treaties. These corporate arbitration courts operate outside of a country's domestic legal system. Video: The truth about global warming VIDEO: A Dearth of Carbon Dr. Patrick Moore | johnwise
16/9/2021 10:32 | This seems to be my lucky share lol. Normally I'm useless at trading but IOG always seems to play ball. Now they just need to get that first gas flowing without any hiccups! Not quite sure why GazProm are going to be buying gas from IOG unless they fixed the price in anticipation of pushing it higher. | bountyhunter
16/9/2021 10:16 | Maybe just maybe some news in line with previous mgt indications on it's way? There is a first time, lol. EDIT - spoke too soon! | dunderheed
15/9/2021 14:17 | added with first gas due soon, not moved up much from just over 22p in May/June given the huge hike in gas prices | bountyhunter
09/9/2021 20:57 | Could we see energy rationing this winter as a result of the Russians squeeze on our imported gas supplies? I must admit this is the first I have heard of this possibility... | bountyhunter
07/9/2021 09:00 | IOG, beginning to see some upward traction, with plenty to go for. f | fillipe
06/9/2021 16:14 | thing is he needs IOG as operator, at least for now, but post startup who knows what may happen | bountyhunter
06/9/2021 15:38 | I wonder what price WB will pay? | billybunter1970
06/9/2021 13:37 | Thanks bertie, clickable... "Net Zero UK gas and infrastructure operator", that should tick a few boxes finnCap target 47p :) | bountyhunter

06/9/2021 09:22 | going up, about time! | bountyhunter
03/9/2021 17:00 | Indeed but there is a 29% seller in the market and a buyer called Warren Buffett who does not overpay. On top of this you have Lombard Odier with 25% and many greedy shareholders so just what is going to be the opening BID once gas flows and the cash is used to reduce debt from the Euro loan? | anley
27/8/2021 20:17 | The possibility of a delay is probably what is holding this back given the elevated gas price, although neither the chequered past (I know Log wasn't really the management's fault) or generous share option awards help either with the management having yet to prove themselves. If they can deliver on time and the gas price stays high I can see this rising to 30p on or soon after first gas and maybe 45p on second gas :) | bountyhunter
27/8/2021 20:08 | Yes agreed. There might be operational delays. But IIRC the last broker valuation of 45p was before the gas price trebled?(All from memory, not checked the numbers above but you get the gist!) | edgar222
27/8/2021 20:02 | I think we all know that :) ...but he left out "assuming first gas on time" | bountyhunter
27/8/2021 20:00 | "IOG is in very good nick and is moving towards first gas with everything going well operationally. If all carries on with the gas price then revenues will be well in excess of forecasts and the IOG share price should rise significantly."Malcy | edgar222
27/8/2021 13:55 | Yes, probably eyeing a few yacht brokers sites as we speak. | bbluesky |
