Not at all. They made a decision based on the available data. I totally agree that the small cap E&P sector is rife with zombie companies run as lifestyle businesses. This isn't one of them imo.

Sludge.....are you saying the drilling team along with the directors mismanaged a drilling decision?

It does seem to me that there are a number of AIM oil/gas shares where the BofD seem to think that what they run or manage is their exclusive property......a sort of private PLC.

2020 is going to be a year when all of these AIM companies will be forced to stand up and be counted.

Let's see how all this unfolds..............

I know what you mean, however ultimately it will require an additional appraisal drill which is bad news. Basically they've drilled the wrong prospect but hindsight is a wonderful thing.

Its not clear to me whether this discovery/prospect was included in the original Harvey Resource.

I considered a top up today but I've held off for now.

You have to read the news words very carefully to understand just what is going on.

The price is trying to recover as the news is not bad bad BUT interesting until its explained to the world................simple words please Mr Board of Directors.

Is this the first time that a resource estimate has been given for the Redwell/Woodforde field (discovery or prospect)? Or was it lumped into the Harvey area resource? Seems, to me, to be significant in the overall scheme of things.

Like most companies, good news instantly reported, bad news always delayed.

Hence when there's a delay in expected news it's nearly always bad news.

I assume this weakness is as a result of CER not exercising it's option for 50% of Harvey ?

When does that expire ?

I AGREE...IOG now Looks like correction territory with 16p then 14p support but with oil sentiment very low we nay even hit the years low of 9-12p.... preserve money so you dont lose much more...see Charts...
