I do hope IOG don't fall into the age-old tradition of AIM e&p where they over promise, under deliver, dilute, issue options, rinse and repeat.A few years back they could get away with it. Not now. The market will hammer them..even if they are well funded.

Rubbish.. get society and life open, enough of these LOCKDOWNS all they do is put off until they 'lift' lockdowns.. Protect the vulnerable, those well into their 80's, which IF the vaccines are any good those who wished to have the experimental vaccines would have had them and let everyone else get on with life..

And my advice is STOP HAVING TEST AND TRACE, AND GET RID OF THE APP!!

Not a good day to release any kind of news unfortunately. So much for Boris's freedom day - the forward looking market is not impressed with Covid rates rising rapidly ahead of a foolishly premature relaxation of too many restrictions all at once!

BH. The share price reaction seems somewhat overdone given that the delay is 3 to 4 weeks.
And, as you point out, the delayed gas will earn more.

Snap, just added that last bit before reading your post! Re reserves I meant several more fields larger than Elgood, not a one trick pony although has seemed like one at times in the past and the financing woes have not been forgotten. On the positive side it's a good thing that Berkshire Hathaway Energy are involved.

Optimistic view? Where have these guys ever increased reserves post appraisal?
The only thing they seem to increase are their share awards.

Elgood rates up, volume possibly down a bit, but gas prices up. Blythe next, first oil not before October as Elgood drilling has been challenging although successfully completed, reminds me of R3! Elgood a small field anyway and plenty more fields to take the optimistic view. Overall if gas prices stay high should all be good in the end but no more management options please as plenty issued already. 😊

Not always Papillon (HUR turned into a basket case!) but things are going well with SQZ / KIST / IOG since my recent purchases/top-ups. It's the gas interests which attracted me to these recently. I can't find any other AIM O&G shares which I consider to have the same potential. IOG seems to be my lucky share in this sector as I've traded it several times now and unlike some other shares always done well with this one.

My lower trend line goes back to December 2020 and is providing good support. Hopefully it will continue to do so. Be nice if this uptrend continues. MACD looks bullish. Pity that IOG has only recently come to my attention.

The natural gas price is continuing in an uptrend so it looks likely that your SQZ, KIST & IOG will also continue to do well, bountyhunter. You're obviously a good judge of which shares to buy.
