david,
I heard Benlysta can take up to 12 months to have much effect, whereas Lupuzor is working within 3 months.

Is that your understanding?

Gulp!
david: "Erm, boss, its not working, the deramp has turned into a ramp"

Boss: "Quick, get hamham back in the office now"

che - I'm not jumping to any conclusions about the 47% drop-our rate. Without sight of the full paper anyway. What we don't know, we don't know. Keeping an open mind, me.

EDIT - Found the data now!

So 39 stopped because of either an adverse event or lack of efficacy.
Not ideal, but not shockingly bad IMO.

If you look at the Benlysta report last friday, nearly 50% of participants dropped out. With only the abstract, unable to see why

Benlysta still has side effects, it lowers the patients immune system and is not easily tolerated. Lupuzor will also be a fair bit cheaper if successful - Next !

How on earth do you know Zimmer remortgaged his house??

David
It is definitely positive for Benlysta but does not change the overall story. Lup tolerability profile to date is better.

Does anyone think this Benlysta announcement last Friday about long term safety and efficacy is negative for Lupuzor?

Well I think you will be able to buy on the day of the results, even if they good, let's just see eh?
Some people with huge amounts of shares will be way in profit and maybe want to lock in a bit? What was that rule 2 of that Zurich plan thingy OB mentioned earlier?

Arcadian, I agree with you, on successful results, it would be in auction for the first 5 minutes in any case.I'm happy with my allocation. However, on success, I'll try to take advantage of any weakness as I'm sure everyone else aware in the market will.I think DMORRA made the same point, not a chance to buy on successful results.

Che

While I am impressed by you loyalty, devotion commitment research etc I find myself wondering how you will go about purchasing £30 worth of stock on a good phase three 3 day unless that is you have access to the auction. My experience is that most brokers are useless in the first minutes afterwards by which time the price will have run away from you. There are others on this bb who are hoping to do the same but will be in for a shock..

GI2001,
Agree with your point in reference to SM, though she knows it works. She's done years of testing with Lupus....now focusing on the other primary indicators and has awards as long as your arm. SM and the team behind her are the main reason for investing here, but also the fact that Zimmer had to remortgage his house to invest a substantial amount in the company makes it all the more compelling IMV.

I mentioned the EU Lupus meeting as a potential target to make the announcement when I first invested. I would though be very surprised if David Isenberg made the announcement. Most likely it would be Daniel Wallace as principal investigator.

The session on the Lupus agenda could be a place holder with a late swap of speaker and topic. Another option for IMM would be to hire a room in the hotel and run a satellite event. They could run this first thing in the morning before the main programme or over the lunch break. Would attract a lot of delegate interest for sure.

Would be a good question for Tim next week albeit he will be limited in what he could say.

Everything still points to the end of March...

I think the trigger to move up might be when the short disappears off the radar, we get ANYTHING new out of Tim's chat next Monday and then build momentum as we head into March whereby each day really could be the day and investors will start to position themselves for that rather than trading.

I don't think the current price will make much difference on the price come results day - the share price will be valued based on implied revenues and P/E - I don't think it will be valued on 'we go up x% from yesterdays close" etc. Might be wrong - as long as it goes up eventually I quite like having calm days here.

Growth, I would prefer that we break 120p and start to get into a nice uptrend again as we progress towards very successful results.Nicer to rise from 200p on good results than 120p

This volume is nice and stable for me - after the appearance of the short and the jump on Friday its good to see it "nice and calm" today and staying roughly where we started. Much prefer this to last Wed/Thu.

fairly low volume today compared with the last few weeks. I would have expected higher volume than this.

I feel that the rampers have now regained control of this board after being given a hard time on Friday

This is more than they deserve as the odds are heavily on their side.

This waiting game is taking its toll on everyone but I feel that some on here posting to try and make the time go quicker!

My advice? Saviour this time of being poor because for the true believers it could soon become s distant memory!

Most people only get one big break in their lives! Could this be it?

Wow. Reading about these presentations makes me feel VERY excited. SM presenting in April, talking about treating lupus with no side effects to drug. This is almost one of the biggest indicators that PIII is going to be successful!
