This is a great deal. Even the aspect Of cirtec commercial teams working to further sell stereax is something to get excited about. That basically grows the sales team by multiples. With access to current customers of cirtec. 10 year licenses is huge commitment to the technology. Fantastic Co formation that ilikas solid state batteries work and are here to stay :)

I think this is a great deal for Ilika as it will enable them to focus their attention and resources on what they are good at. Equally they won't waste precious cash on what they are not good at. Bit disappointing not to see some upfront cash and I suspect things will take longer delaying revenues etc. But they can now really get on with the Goliath development having learnt some valuable lessons

Well there you have it! Done deal, signed sealed and delivered, 10 year contract. That’s some commitment to stereax. Well done all at ilika 👍

Good to see the share price rising again, I feared the worst for this company a while ago.

A decent bit of British innovation, but the usual hurdle is commercialising the tech, we don't do that so well in this country.

Cheers JimmyAnn,
Rest assured I share keep posting an accurate view of Ilika’s woeful performance to date vs. the perma-bull & fingers crossed optimism peddled here. Who knows they might actually achieve something tangible one day or make a £1 in income vs. Just burning Government grant money?!?
🐷 might 🪰 too

Jimmy, No Disrespect to RogerK, but I’ve been trading for 20+ years and using ADVFN for 18 years, we ain’t the same person! Anyone bright enough to check profiles would get that. You’ve been here for 3 years mate, and, to be frank, your naivety regards investing shows.

Anyway.. time to see if I’m right that an institution issued their “GET ME OUT AS CLOSE AS YOU CAN TO 50p” instruction to their broker post update, time will tell.

Good luck all

You are right. Management completely screwed up their revenue forecasts for Stereax. Maybe that rightly cost the FD his job. But that's history and the shares have taken a big hit over the last 18 months or so. I hope the CEO et al have learnt their lesson and I think the Cirtec deal is a big plus for Stereax. And I think there is still a chance that Goliath proves to be industry leading tech. Risk reward too good to miss IMHO

I and many more like me are here as long term shareholders. We believe in Ilika and it's technology. Quite frankly we are sick of the lies and derogatory commentary made by ROGK and his aliases. It is not healthy for us the long term shareholders or the company.

If you truly believe IKA is a good thing jimmAnn, and that negative comments on this thread lower the SP, you should be thanking the detractors for giving you chance to buy cheap shares rather than getting angry and upset with them.

I knew you would be next to follow as you are one of his other aliases.
If you don't like Ilika sell the shares and move on. I and other like minded long term shareholders do not want to constantly hear the negativity and lies

Rogk is clearly a non believer.. burn the 🧙‍a92;️ witch.. He must not be allowed to come here with his neysaying & mistruths and must be drowned in the river at first light.

Now lets get back to reassuring each other that ilika is doing really well against its own missed timings and sales targets.. checks 2 year share price chart.

Oh dear, utterly delusional
The latest company update was frankly, pathetic with no commercial traction demonstrated whatsoever

They spent it Rogk playing poker!!
This guy is desperate to pull the share price down for his benefit. This is all about Rogk and nothing to do with Ilika.

Rogk,
YOU DON'T HOLD SHARES. If you were that interested why didn't you ask?
Your moronic comments are getting more and more absurd.
We await for your other aliases to come out with something equally as moronic as your last comment.
You need to get a life!!

So where are we at then?

Stereax manufacturing agreement with cirtec must be close. The company said on investor day it was a couple of weeks away from concluding. That’s was a couple of weeks ago.

Quantum scape gave a good technical update yesterday, we could do with one of those on Goliath. QS progressing well and share price was up 25% at one point yesterday. $4b market cap that lot, if only!

Things could be about to get interesting here. Share price looking solid at these levels, ready for next leg up?

So what?? There is and will be many manufacturers of batteries. Competition is good and necessary!!
You are here prattling news so that you can bring down the share price for your benefit. This is clearly obvious!!

so what.. SO WHAT??
I would have thought another EV manufacturer producing a battery with an 1,100Km range would be big news for any savvy investor with money in a speculative battery development company that currently can’t match the output of a 350mile range lithium battery (ilkia) but I guess that’s just me..

People on here slagging off the Ford model T whilst buying more horses 😂

So what? We all know there will be several other battery producers.
Total garbage comment to try and pull down the share price!!

Does make me smile, any alternative views apart perma-bull gets shot down.. 1 look at the chart says who’s on the money (ignore last few days pump to allow an insti to get out).. anyway, back in the commercial world:

Chinese EV start-up Nio to soon offer the world’s longest range solid-state battery, with a range of 1,100Kms, on a rent and swap basis at its drive through, automated battery change centres..

The battery from Beijing WeLion New Energy Technology, which was first unveiled in January 2021, will only be rented to Nio car users, says Nio president Qin Lihong
