I think even the p.i’s are bailing out now..
Soon it’ll just be JimmyAnn (ignoring the last 10 years of jam tomorrow whilst the big boys overtook ilika) shouting about their huge ‘potentialR17;

JimmyAnn, your eloquent, fact filled rebuttal to HB has won me over.. you’re right, this isn’t just another grant funded pipe dream with nothing tangible to show for 10 years of NPD.

Your naive comments about day traders here is very telling, fyi, attempting to short term trade anything with ilika’s spread is the work of the 76% club. You're welcome.

You have no idea how long I have held these shares so stop your moronic assumptions!
What we all know about you ROGK/Homeblower is that you have no regard for this company and you are only here for constant criticism at every aspect of this company.
The share price was over £2 at one stage. Why didn't you exit? That is if you really hold these shares.
You are a complete Moron!!

Dear Ann and jimmy,

You have been loyally pushing this company for several years (is it three or four?) and complaining bitterly about posters saying negative things about the company, the board, the science, the lack of patents etc etc. You keep saying that we talk a lot of twoddle and ask why don't we all shove off, and that the gyrations in the shareprice is purely to do with day-traders.

The fact is that this company has been stringing shareholders along for over 10 years (yes ten years) in which time it has not managed to get a single product to market and therefore has achieved zero product sales.

Surely there must come a time when you should ask yourselves, "Is the company ever going to make it, or is it just one of those "lifestyle" companies who's board cares nothing for the shareholders and are purely interested in hanging on to their well-paid jobs for as long as possible?

Ask yourselves the question and stop slanging other posters who may know more than you.

We are not newbies. We have held the stock longer than you and the phonies on this site.
Your lack of belief in the company questions why are you here. Day Trader? Of course not!! I think you are. The trades on this share are pitiful. Day Traders trying desperately to push it one way and another.

This thread makes me smile, so many newbies blissfully unaware of the history of Ilika and numerous management mistakes..

Facts are:
* The Goliath battery is, as far as we know and after many years of big talk.. NOWHERE close to parity with an equivalent lithium-ion EV battery.
* Ilika have commissioned an external manufacturer to make Sterax because they have failed to do so (despite aspirations of being the manufacturer).
* Ilikia have a rich history is missing deadlines and commitments.
* Ilkia will run out of cash late 2024 (without further grants / income / dilution)
* 3 years ago ilika were viewed as innovative, today they are industry laggards.

Facts kids, facts
Over 20 years of share & fx trading experience here which puts me in the top 24% of retail investors, but what do I know!?!
Best of

Re Goliath; as far as I'm aware there has been no information since their last shout last November, so it's impossible to say either way. However, imo, it seems unlikely they can do very much to drastically improve Goliath's output and energy density as it has taken them an age to get to where they are now.

They are a small team in a very big race and they don't have any exceptional technology. I wish them luck...but I'm not optimistic.

It all rests on Stereax now.

I'll be fair and say that as a long term investor here, ROGK has been rightly critical of management here. They have made a lot of mistakes and need to rebuild trust. But I still think the risk reward ratio is great for the long term

Anyone says anything positive about this stock and it sends ROGK sprouting his negative nonsensical rubbish.
Total moronic comment from you ROGK.
Man with no knowledge and who has been badly burnt!!
Everything that comes out of your head is full of garbage.
We all know you hate Ilika so why don't you just STOP the nonsensical garbage???

hxxps://www.ii.co.uk/shares/ilika/LSE:IKA)is the more risky of the five companies. It had a period when it was an investor favourite, but the share price has slumped. The share price has fallen by more than three-fifths over the past year. Yet, Ilika is in a much better position than it was in early 2021 when the share price peaked.
The Stereax M300 miniature battery should be launched by the summer after some delays last year. A manufacturing licence deal with Cirtec Medical will enable a significant boost in production for Stereax. Machinery will be transferred to Cirtec Medical’s factory in Massachusetts as part of the tech transfer deal. There are initial orders from 18 medical companies and there is plenty of scope for increasing production as required.

This is not an exclusive deal and similar deals can be made around the world. Ilika continues to own the intellectual property and it can put more resources into developing the customer base, as well as further investment in the technology.
The larger Goliath battery is on the way to reaching parity with equivalent lithium-ion batteries. It is designed to be cost-effective and recyclable. Ilika has been awarded a UK government grant of £2.8 million for taking a leading role on a 24-month Faraday Battery Challenge in collaboration with BMW and Williams. This will further the development of the Goliath battery for automotive use.
Net cash was £17.8 million at the end of October 2022. The cash should last well into 2024, but there will be a requirement for more cash as Ilika approaches breakeven. By that time there sh
ould be positive news concerning demand for Stereax batteries from medical device companies. The potential for Stereax more than underpins the share price, leaving no value attributed to Goliath. Take a long-term view of this investment.
