Don't know if the RNS below could be described as a 'structural change' that might be getting a move on?

I personally don't think it is related to i3e but interesting nonetheless.

A good day for I3E yesterday, but then again, it shouldn't have dropped below £1.Corner turned here, more of the same today.

LOL - thanks for the reply :)

I think you'll be alright in the longer term but, yes, some good news soon would be welcome.

I hold over 125k @ a average of 88pat present I am day trading I3e (with difficulty as my post points out ) . I believe that the true value before funding should be around the £1 mark but the damage the bod have done could drive the share price below 50p if we don't get some type of news in the next few weeks to WTF the funding / funder problem is / was . I have no doubt this will get funding and blow past £2 before ii get in drive it higher. If I do any more research into I3e I would end up putting one of my organs for-sale on eBay

Looks like someone did a bit of research over the weekend ;-)

Kierandoberman - 22 Oct 2018 - 16:33:04 - 5046 of 5069 I 3 Energy - I3E
"I expect to see today or tomorrow reported buys .
Took me 4 hours to buy 5k shares and had to break down to get filled @ 60p / 61 and 61.5 .
But could sell 30k @ 60 all afternoon."

Kierandoberman - 19 Oct 2018 - 15:02:46 - 4996 of 5069 I 3 Energy - I3E
"Don’t know about 25 / 30p but 44p is looking more possible, the former CEO of this company has a lot to answer for and company has the check to reward him in shares !
Let’s hope the new guy can limit the damage, although he’s not of to a good start lining his pockets already.
THE SPARKLE HAS COME OF i3E . The bod has only themselves to blame for this mess we in ."

Actually, other than the price target, I can agree with a lot of K's post 4996.

Had a little nose into Zennor...... they've got Kerogen covering their back. Zennor are also a partner in the proposed Arran development.

Indeed. I3E could potentially go it alone or with much smaller equity partner(s).

Loads of options in this oil price environment.

This share has dropped nearly 50% on delayed funding. Oil price is still where is at. The FDP has not been pushed back. They now have an opportunity to appraise the whole market and attract companies that want to invest again in the North Sea. I can't believe with that backdrop and Mijid's background that they will not have several options moving forwards. It seems a no brainer to me. $200m funds, get the $200m back with interest in a relatively short period from production and benefit from a third of the asset for the life cycle of the reserves. RRE have vested interests in the area and probably the ability now to fund it. I'm sure there are several more and mid sized oil and gas companies are making investment in the potential of the area.

Ithaca Energy Limited is pleased to report that it has completed its previously announced debt refinancing activities and repaid its $300 million senior unsecured notes due July 2019.

The Company’s new debt facilities consist of a $400 million reserves based lending facility, due December 2022, and a five year $300 million (second lien) term loan that has been placed with a syndicate of leading international financial institutions. These facilities provide the Company with a simple and lower cost long term debt capital structure and a strong financial platform from which to continue delivering upon the growth objectives of the business.

Kingivor, Ithaca? I must say I did think that during the JV exclusive process. Seems right in their sweet spot. After the Repsol speculation, I do think the JV was Repsol Sinopec but Ithaca could be one to show their hand now. They have recently refinanced debt to the tune of $700m and part of that is to seek new opportunities. Their strapline on their website is 'Ithaca Energy is an oil and gas operator focused on North Sea production, appraisal and development activities'
mmmmm….we could do with a bit of development activity :-))

Have a think why they've stuck to the new FDP despite the JV stalling...

The clues are there.

Back to a £1 soon then...Sentiment turned on a sixpence and rightly so.
Looking forward to reading the revised enviromental statement due any time.
Hold for gold or a quick takeover.

I still have a feeling the original partner will be back. I think I3E believe they will too.

But there will be no shortage of interest elsewhere.

Could be a very interesting 2-3 months here.

Share price forced down to ridiculous levels by a persistent seller, but that's the market for you.

That is my understanding. ATM, they would sign but GH said when I spoke to him last week that the longer they take and the more progress made with other potential JV's, the weaker their position would be. They got a few weeks imo to get their house in order.
