18/3/2021 18:04 | Tournesol, take your point on reserves. But given we had 2 prolific wells that were drilled too close to OWC, surely somewhere on this acreage they can find alternate places to drill a new well? even 12000 a day is pretty decent, from a single well, and we don't know how accurate the reserves figures are, as FB is notoriously difficult. In other words, you can put estimate reserves easily here yet still chundering away at 12000 a day from a single well... | leoneobull

18/3/2021 10:45 | Leoneobull "...For me, a bid is coming ... time will tell... simply too much cash, too many tax write offs and too much acreage to be ignored by the big boys .., oh and the project is set up... running and in need of minimal investment for huge rewards …" And very few oil reserves. Oil companies are valued according to how much oil they have in the ground that can be extracted at an economic cost. The Hur project was predicated on a belief that there were billions of barrels in the ground of which hundreds of millions were expected to be capable of extraction. Since production started, evidence has shown that the previous numbers were hopelessly unrealistic and optimistic. As a result almost all of the reserves/resources(m As at September 2020 the company said they had just 9 million barrels of reserves left. If you do the maths, that means that they will come to the end of their oil sometime around Q4 next year. That is the central point around which all else rotates. If they can't conjure up more reserves, they will fold. Whilst I do not wish to be unkind, I have to point out that their track record in adding reserves is unpromising to say the least. | tournesol
