12/2/2021 10:38 | Do you honestly believe they would have made this extremely important Going Concern statement if they knew the well would perform as you say? Trust me, Directors do not like prison food...... | fat frank
12/2/2021 10:38 | It's pretty clear that a 7z sidetrack will bring forward the date that well 6 will be totally submerged in water and unable to produce. However its a toss up whether that comes prior to the 7z sidetrack even having a rig on site or if it produces. Either way what it means in reality is that a result similar to Lincoln well 14 won't be good news. They need it to be akin to Well 6. Odds? | ngms27
12/2/2021 10:37 | Clearly NGMS has zero financial experience , as a non holder he just likes to stir the pot , for what reason exactly. | jotoha2
12/2/2021 10:33 | Frank, re-read that statement: Following this review, the directors are satisfied that, taking into consideration reasonably possible downside sensitivities, the Group has adequate resources to continue to operate and meet its liabilities as they fall due for the foreseeable future, a period considered to be twelve months from the date of signing these Interim Financial Statements. For this reason, they continue to adopt the Going Concern Basis for preparing the Interim Financial Statements." Also note expenditure for a 7z sidetrack etc wasn't included in that assessment. | ngms27
12/2/2021 10:28 | So you assume 7z sidetrack will work. That must be no better than 50:50 given results elsewhere. If it does what PI will it have? What about reservoir pressure and bubble point given HUR have stated its a possibility for H2 2021? What will well 6 be contributing next month never mind 9 months time. Wells 6 and 7z were drilled close together because HUR's interpretation of fractures was that this was the optimal spot. Normally in the absence of a gas cap you would have production wells in the attic. Ask why they didn't. The sidetrack of 7z is nothing more than a last throw of the dice. So punk do you feel lucky? | ngms27
12/2/2021 10:24 | 'ngms2712 Feb '21 - 09:54 - 23651 of 23653 Lets call it $400m and they have $119m cash so -$280m at present and production going down with increasing water cut. The only saviour is POO as otherwise they would have been all but finished now.' Your comments above rather fly in the face of the legally binding statement from the Directors below which was based on oil at $40!!! From RNS 11.09.2020 "1.2 Going concern The Group’s business activities, together with the factors likely to affect its future development, performance and position are set out in the Interim Chief Executive Officer’s review and Financial Review above. The financial position of the Group, its cash flows and liquidity position are set out in these Interim Financial Statements. The directors have performed a robust assessment, including a review of the budget for the year ending 31 December 2020 and longer-term strategic forecasts and plans, including consideration of the principal risks faced by the Company and taking into account the ongoing impact of the global COVID-19 pandemic on the macroeconomic situation and any potential impact to operations. In particular, the directors considered a number of sensitivities on key assumptions which included downside (reverse stress) sensitivities in relation to production rates, oil price, fixed operating costs and foreign exchange rates, which estimated the extent to which the key assumption would need to be adversely impacted in order to eliminate the forecast headroom. Following this review, the directors are satisfied that, taking into consideration reasonably possible downside sensitivities, the Group has adequate resources to continue to operate and meet its liabilities as they fall due for the foreseeable future, a period considered to be twelve months from the date of signing these Interim Financial Statements. For this reason, they continue to adopt the Going Concern Basis for preparing the Interim Financial Statements." | fat frank
12/2/2021 10:23 | Ha ha so no production benefit from the 'liability' of $135m capex ? Why would they? You're Including interest to CB redemption but not future oil earnings! It's as if you want a paint as bad as possible ..really quite amusing but factually inaccurate. | kooba
12/2/2021 10:04 | What about the production from the.....$60m liability for 7z sidetrack Q4 2021? | htrocka2
12/2/2021 09:54 | $260m liability July 22nd 2022 - CB plus accrued interest $60m liability for 7z sidetrack Q4 2021 $75m liability for water injector H1 2022 Lets call it $400m and they have $119m cash so -$280m at present and production going down with increasing water cut. The only saviour is POO as otherwise they would have been all but finished now. | ngms27
12/2/2021 08:15 | "mcap £57.8m , book value £278m , cash £89m book value per share 14p, price to book 0.22 , price to sales 0.235, reward for me outweighs the risk , targets on chart - I bought this morning #HUR" A chap I respect and is very successful, had his first lot this morning so lets hope its forwards and onwards for holders and be brings some magic dust to sprinkle on here. LOL. | m5
12/2/2021 06:53 | Correct. However they have made two major discoveries and drilling three more structures in the next 6 months. So not a one trick pony. | ngms27
12/2/2021 04:52 | Any speculation as to why the rise? specific reason or combination?BRENT over 60?shorters closing?FWP leak if they are actively seeking a rig?CPR speculation?accumula | leoneobull
11/2/2021 19:49 | Ngms: "I personally won't accept anything in the CPR without robust information that's cross checked by independent analysis given we all know how CPR's are constructed to act as a sales leaflet for the sponsor and tend to be majorly wrong." You mean just like TXP? | flyinghorse1

11/2/2021 19:08 | kooba, It was the mention of "samples" apparently from the "log wires" that left me scratching my head. A senior moment on my part it seems, judging by your post ..lol ;-#)) | thegreatgeraldo
11/2/2021 18:48 | Probably pointing out to poster it was directed at ,if you do not trust the data produced by oil companies esp in a CPR report without having first hand or independent verification of all the contributing data then investing in oil companies could be tricky. Merely using TXP as an example ..in a rather polite way. Not rocket science. | kooba
11/2/2021 18:36 | eoneobull 11 Feb '21 - 18:29 - 23636 of 23636 0 1 0 Has anybody checked the TXP samples from the log wires? ..Care to explain WTF you're on about? Why not ask your question on the TXP thread? | thegreatgeraldo |
