More than a month now since the rope broke.Consider that management should update it's shareholders on progress being made. We don't even know for sure if the replacements have been offloaded on to the AM yet.
No not a holder of Spreadbets either but it's called PR for the company's shareholders and is a matter of courtesy.

Perhaps a valid contribution on Shrove Tuesday but for the most part this BB is civilized, cooperative and informative. Its one cause for repentance as we enter lent is that it is (understandably) impatient with AM.

Listen it could be much worse. I am holding SDX and have bought in progressively over a period. Am currently off more than 40%. And the potential reward is much more modest than HUR.

In comparison with SDX, Hurricane is a zen meditation class.

Hurricane, the AM, the crew, Dr Trice and all the rest of us are sitting in the departure lounge waiting for a flight that is repeatedly delayed by bad weather. On this board we are waiting more or less impatiently for the announcement that tells us that at least our flight has been cleared for take-off, so we can take a view of our forward journey time. To add to the complexity, we are not even sure how long the flight will take before it arrives at our first destination of First Oil in the Republic of CashFlow. Beyond that the journey ahead is long and complicated with many intermediate stops before we arrive at our ultimate goal of Riches-Beyond-Measure in the Promised Land. Many of our fellow passengers have no intention of staying on the plane for the whole flight, they want to alight at one of the intermediate stops - Lesser Profit, Middle Profit, Greater Profit or Loadsa Profit in the Democratic People's Republic of Nobodyeverwentbrokebytakingaprofitania.

With little else to do, it is not that surprising that some of us are navel gazing, whilst others are naval gazing.

And others are passing the time by writing nonsense.

To travel might be better than to arrive. But waiting for take-off is always dull, dull, dull.

Yes, he didn't supply any info that did more than agree with what any on the ball watcher would have already known was the most likely, so in that sense it wasn't in any way sensitive info.

But he was clear in claiming that he had a contact on the AM who was telling what was happening, and passing on operational details is passing on inside information.

I'm not judging if that was true or not. He may have had the purest of motives. But I have no idea who is is/was, and my first response people on BBs claiming inside info is considerable suspicion, and my second is not to pay any attention - unless I have very good reason to do otherwise.

As you say, I'm sure we'd all wish to have more useful things to discuss, and no doubt they will come. Hopefully before too long.

Puffet made no claim to post inside information. What he appeared to be publishing was reasonably accurate information on the ships movements based on possibly knowing someone on the AZ who was part of the transport crew. That information is and always was public information to anyone who received it. As to his information being perfect, clearly not but it was generally accurate.

Puffet stopped posting when he was being asked about exact information re the hook up which clearly his transport source was not in position to know the hour by hour actions of the hook up crew, which is price sensitive. So maybe just says thanks and give the guy a break for not knowing everything.

Anyway this sort of navel gazing is symptomatic that we are all getting a bid bored!
