Yes agreed bocase, Friday looks to be within limits again but they would need to get going tomorrow if they go for that? But may be to close to the limits for another attempt just yet and nothing after Friday for a while.

The weather and sea state is changing quite quickly at the moment.

Earlier I suggested that Sunday was looking possible. That is no longer the case but this Friday is with light winds and waves and swell within limits.

Take a look for yourselves.

Why don't some of you ring IR and ask if the rope or whatever it was has arrived.They were quite happy to tell me when it was ordered-----------------When you called, how did you announce yourself

Weather window is irrelevant if there is a rope missing. Still in the dark. Need a crew member on the bung to tell us all the info.

First signs of a new weather window creeping in. Take a look at the last few entries below for Sunday. Winds of 2 knots. Now that is virtually no wind. Too early to tell how long very light winds will last for and if it will be long enough for the waves and swell to subside.

We all know weather windows can disappear too, as this week's did but worth watching.

It's pretty obvious we are waiting for the sea to be calm enough to allow hook up!!!

They were quite happy to tell me when it was ordered and also how long it was expected to take, and by my calculations it is well on board now. So I am confident they are just waiting on conditions, if you doubt that , then phone them.

The company said the next RNS whould be when hook-up was completed. I'm happy to wait, don't need updates all the time we already know what the crew has for breakfast.
