0rient - it's a tough call because there are a few key determinants. Farm-out, the CPR, progress on the EPS, corporate action, oil prices, new management team, whether they actively market the stock ahead of first oil (because of the new listing?) and so on.

I think your 45p+ is a median sort of value for Nov '18 but yes, it could easily be earlier.

Presumably you need to place a minimum of 700,000 shares at £1 or similar - don't think par value comes into it.

hiddendepths..what would be your target for Nov 18? I'm hoping for 45p+
If we get a better than expected CPR then the 45p will be reached a lot earlier :-)

Trice will not be let off the hook
The huge market cap will be decimated on write downs next month

Fireplace22. Thanks. But that number is £700k.
Does this represent (number of shares) x par value, or (number of shares) x price they trade at?

Yes i've corrected my initial post now. It's minimum £700,000 worth that needs to be 'listed'.

Apparently for full listing a mc of £700M is required which includes all securities (presumably the CB's count) so we're probably over that now.

It's £700,000 - hxxps://www.lseg.com/sites/default/files/content/documents/main-market-key-eligibility-criteria.pdf!

There are loads of fully listed companies smaller than £700m.

There is I believe also a requirement for O&G companies that are full listed to have production - though having production under development may count, so HUR qualifies, or at least will soon.

Fireplace22. Can you please give a link to the market cap requirement of £700m?

All: Given the lack of revenue history, can it be given a premium listing?

"The FCA may consider that a new applicant does not have representative historical financial information and that its equity shares are not eligible for a premium listing if a significant part or all of the new applicant's business has one or more of the following characteristics:....

(4) there is no record of consistent revenue, cash flow or profit growth throughout the period of the historical financial information;"

I note that the RNS does not specifically mention LSE, just a recognized stock exchange.

hahaha and it goes down

you twit

plenty of reasoning HH

they may be sitting on loads of oil - dont mean a thing till they work out they work out the cost of bringing it out - and how easy will it come out. When is the EPS going to occur if at all ?

alot of promises here, but if POO can rally and HUR still goes down then its not looking good - chart says it is still in a downtrend - that u cant get away from. Not an investment currently.

Pathetic attempt to sway the market this morning following such a massive write down in value of WOS fields

edit above is incorrect, the figure is actually a minimum of £700,000 to be 'listed'.

Lol! If you're right on write-downs, operational delays and corporate howlers, it won't even be 20p.

Fortunately you're wrong, wrong and wrong!

If you're too chicken to bet, how about justifying your negative assertions. You might wish to start by telling us why we should listen to you about Hurricane. Giving your industry credentials might make some of us lend an ear. And your contacts in the industry who are giving you the insight you claim? Are they well-placed? Do you have good reason to believe that the CEO of BP was simply wrong in his recent speech in Aberdeen?

Just making unjustified negative assertions cuts no ice on this BB!

chutes - fancy a wager about that? Be warned, I only bet when my chances of winning are VERY high! I rarely lose wagers. Are you prepared to bet? A case of good wine for me if the price is above 30p on 1st Nov 2018 and a case for you if it's below. Any other posters willing to take on chutes in the same way? It'll give him a chance to get a better price from the wine merchant if he buys in bulk

Ooh, I'd like it if my old mate Aidan took the helm! He owes me a couple of pints for one thing! Rob Arnott is a really nice guy but a bit of a lightweight in industry terms - he was a good analyst in days of yore. David Jenkins has a great reputation but he's getting a bit long in the tooth so the interim appointment is appropriate. John van der Welle is a good man to look into these issues. I knew him in his Enterprise Oil days and rated him highly.

Chutes - no interest in my wager then? All mouth and no trousers it seems! ie You KNOW you're talking absolute rubbish!
