_ackers as you know this board is for Hurricane Energy investors not £5 bet deramping gamblers who spend their dole money down the local bookies instead of buying food.

Quite simply, the Board needs to forget about appointing a yes-man as Chairman. RA was anyway not up to the job of the Company achieving the best medium term deals for shareholders. We need a Chairman who can keep the brilliant technical team in check.
We need a Chairman who is a heavyweight in the industry, who has chaired an FT100 or at least 250 Co successfully. Yes it will cost, both to appoint and pay him, but we have shares available to ease that path.
Whether many remain holders here, both IIs and PIs will imo depend on the outcome of this even more than the awaited CPR.

How are you in a position to make an informed judgement on a statement like that, LTI?

If you are please share the evidence. (And that doesn't include statements from ex chairs or fund managers who have clear agendas of their own to follow)

Perhaps you are are right, but you are equally likely to be wrong so why make statements like that?

Oh Dr Trice, you are a brilliant geologist but “grow up” and listen to those around you and you will become a very wealthy, brilliant geologist.LT

chutes-you've mentioned a Lancaster downgrade a number of times since Thursday but unfortunately your credibility is close to zero. So, if you care to, why not tell the rest of us where you got this nugget of information from?

HD I wasn't suggesting they were but given they would be able to "Trust" many of the ex BP people at Hurricane they I think can get a much quicker understanding of the assets than the average Oilco.

Also publically saying very nice things about HUR by the CEO of BP would not be done casually.

Hopefully they will wait to first oil a point that maximises HUR's shareholders upside and minimizes the risk for BP shareholders.

Hopefully £2? Ok that seems hopeful today but not I think in 16 months time?
