Laser – there’s a post by bookyjam on lse, the ‘Artemis sale’ thread, in which he concludes that Artemis now hold no more than 23.4m shares. Don’t know if he is right and actually don’t much care to check. I only got involved because some were posting here and on lse alarmist noises about Artemis being out entirely. Which of course they could be, although the probability of that is negligible. When a fund sells out in its entirety they would normally explicitly say so in the rns.

Probably hedging their bets given the COS of Lancaster and Halifax being connected is probably less than 30% given the seal requirements.

Look how HUR share price has held up after 3 big investors have off loads large chunks of their holdings here. They will regret reducing their holding in HUR and putting that cash in their other holdings or new investments do not return same % or better in next couple of years.

Well, Shell who own just as much of Clair as bp, might need to appease the government & the press that they remain committed to the UK - if they, as rumoured, offload $3bn of North Sea assets this week.HUR would give them that opportunity.

Had a big seller in rockhopper years ago when the share price was around 70 p we all where amazed at the timing of the seller....rockhopper went to over 5 pounds on drill results a few months later....it happens as pi,s we cannot understand

Jacks I am not around my pc this week so cannot research I thought Artemis held their holdings in different funds so may be a bit difficult to reconcile whether they are actually out completely

Its CA reducing their holding because of their holding rules.The good news is that new big investors have taken up their shares.As the share price rises to the next level CA will do the same thing until they reach a point where they have their stake and profit out only leaving a % of shares amount on how they see the company devoloping over 2018 to 2021.
