27/1/2017 11:32 | Topped up today, would be rude not to bearing in mind the steadyness of the share. See this at 48 p next week and no lower pending next drill. | dave19w
27/1/2017 10:42 | It'll make its way back up in Feb as results get closer.Cash | cashandcard
27/1/2017 10:23 | Puzzler, I was wondering why you are irritated. The only irritation I might possibly have, is not having any money to top up. Then again, I could always massively increase the leverage on my spread-bets. Buffy | buffythebuffoon
27/1/2017 09:22 | Constant slide of share price this January is irritating for those, who like me, have a large holding - but it's the end result that is important here. Agree about keeping powder dry - no complaints about the rights issue plus excess entitlement that I subscribed to a while back at 34p. | puzzler2
26/1/2017 17:44 | I have a limit buy order in play, as am sure there will be fluctuations in the share price in the next few weeks, no need to rush in imho | jimarilo
26/1/2017 17:28 | a small degree of patience needed here, i am confident in the next drill and am certain the next phase of the plan will already be in place once it is completed. If i had spare cash now i would be topping up. its a great stable share now and with a lot of upward movement to go. very few companies are run by such knowledgeable and dilligent people. looking forward to the next RNS | dave19w
26/1/2017 16:16 | At least we know its not manipulation etc...LOL! Its just good old fashioned II selling. How many more? Or are they just selling into strength every time? | nicebut
26/1/2017 15:59 | Sorry wrong word. | gary38
26/1/2017 15:54 | TOP DEFINITION slinging similar to dealing, distributing, selling of drugs No man, I stopped slinging after I got caught by the cops. | gary38
26/1/2017 15:41 | Agree slinking is not a reasoned comment. | mrx001
26/1/2017 15:14 | This won't just be traders, and there's really no reason to describe anyone who sells as slinking. There will be investors sitting on profits of up to 500% over less than a year with a drill result coming up that could go either way. There's no certainty of the drill result. Were I overweight, which I'm not, but many will be after recent rises I would certainly be top slicing. Slinking doesn't come into it, it would simply be intelligent investing. 26/1/2017 15:00 | Davidblack, imo this isn't retail punters locking away big gains, many sitting on those gains will be holding on for Halifax and the big picture if there is one - I am. It will be T and margin traders who in many cases will have taken a loss moving hot money elsewhere, they won't admit to it though - they just slink off. I do hope though that there's a bigger fish swallowing them and CA have turned of the tap having got their portfolio balanced. In the meantime we just have to wait for the next newsworthy event while HUR drill on. | prefab
26/1/2017 13:54 | Steady tuck away institutional buyers picking up shares from retail punters who are happy to exit after doubling or trebling their money it looks like to me. Perfect stock rotation ahead of the next phase with the big question of is Is a cluster of oil discoveries or is it potentially one very big discovery. That seems like a win win question so happy to wait for the answer! | davidblack
26/1/2017 13:32 | Fun and games being played with the share price Untill that is, we get the good news! Oh how I wish I had the spare cash. I'd be adding every p.👉🏿 | rayrac
25/1/2017 19:59 | North Sea Oil Producers Cash In On Asian Demand, OPEC DealBy Irina Slav - Jan 24, 2017, 8:15 AM CST North Sea Jette FieldCrude oil from the North Sea is flowing to Asia at record rates, set to reach 12 million barrels this month, Bloomberg reports, citing shipping data. Tankers carrying 9 million barrels are already on their way to Asian refiners and another 3 million barrels are to be loaded this week.North Sea producers have been struggling with falling yields due to field depletion and lack of capital for investments in new deposits because of the price crash, in addition to a mini-glut of 12 million barrels of crude accumulated since the start of the price crash. The glut was relieved late last year thanks again to Asian refiners. The increased demand for North Sea oil from Asia comes on the back of the OPEC production cut agreement that saw many Middle Eastern producers slash their exports in proportion with output cuts. This curb in Middle Eastern supply has made the more expensive North Sea blends inevitably more appealing, hence the record loadings.Ads by These developments, although certainly good for North Sea energy firms, raise the question how long it will take Middle Eastern producers to recapture the market share they will certainly lose over the next five months, until the production cut agreement is in force.Related: Oil Prices Could Reach $60 This Year: NovakIf Chinese demand for oil continues to rise as predicted, to 12 million bpd, this year the hunger for alternative supplies will persist, allowing more players to replace Middle Eastern producers that supply Asian markets. Once there, they are unlikely to go quietly once the Middle East states return. This prospect could turn the next five months into a nervous game and reduce the willingness of the signatories to the agreement to keep their end of the bargain, despite the recently announced setting up of a monitoring committee to ensure compliance. | gary38
25/1/2017 14:48 | Hi jacks13, Agree your comment - plus , of course, to exercise your warrants you have to put up the cash. Which eats into your liquidity/firepower for other things... ATB | extrader
25/1/2017 12:07 | On the question of the 23.3m warrants, as long as Crystal Amber remain confident about the prospects for the company they have no need to exercise them. It would only increase their problems of imbalance within their fund portfolio. By virtue of owning the warrants they already have title to any gains. Were a successful takeover offer for the company to emerge their gains would be paid out in full without their ever having to exercise them. | jacks13
25/1/2017 11:30 | Crystal Amber bought approximately 27.8m shares in the November placing and open offer. They have since sold approximately 24.4m and I wouldn’t be surprised to see continuing selling given the disproportionate size of their holding within their fund. In absolute terms they still hold more shares today than they did prior to November. It’s not something I am concerned about. Incidently, how would Crystal Amber know about another fund raising when the rest of us don’t know? | jacks13
25/1/2017 11:19 | The bulk of the capex is spending on the FPSO... can't see HUR stumping up all the money for that upfront. | thegreatgeraldo |
